Honestly just thought about getting myself one. Been cleaning fish on my tailgate with an old cutting board for years.

Nice.  I put one in my online shopping carts a few times, but haven't pulled the trigger.  I haven't kept fish in years, but I think I need to catch and fry up some crappie one of these days.

That’s pretty much exactly what I do. I use a flat piece of plastic either on my tail gate or work bench in the garage. I use mine to clean pheasants and wild turkey in addition to fish.

We use one like the OP has on our annual Alabama trip, very nice. Except when we cleaned a gar, it was so wild it kept flopping up into our face even after several denoggonizations

Used it today for few trout, I am happy with it. No back pain because it is high enough to stand straight and clean the fish and way easier clean up after cleaning is done.
