So I just placed an order from digitaka and paid via PayPal, it said I should receive a confirmation email but never did. I got a email from PayPal saying payment was successful but nothing from digitaka. Is this normal?

If paypal says they got paid...you're good (and insured by paypal).  

Don’t worry about it. It’ll show up and quickly. I get digitaka orders in fewer days than American retailers. 

I’ve never had nor even heard of a problem with Digitaka.

Five orders from Digitaka - all came to me within 3-4 days (from Japan!) - they're my JDM retailer of choice.

I have bought from them numerous times & they ship fast like 3 or 4 days. They never emailed me regarding confirmation. But I always used PayPal for payment. 

Both of my Zillions came in 5 days or less. I wouldn't worry. I am not sure if an automated email response is generated and I think it's 5am there. If I recall correctly my last purchase paypal confirmed before they did. 

Bought all my Zillions from them. Japan to my front porch in 3 days each time via Fed-Ex. I don't remember if I got a confirmation e-mail from them or not, but to say Digitaka impressed me is an understatement. Same can be said for Fed-Ex.

I don't even understand how that is possible lol, I live 40 minutes from an Amazon distribution center and it takes them 2-3 days to get stuff to me. Thank you for the reassurance though, I just felt it was strange that once the order was completed it said I would receive an immediate confirmation and didn't.

Did you check your spam folder?

I did they did send me tracking info last night. I guessing the time difference has alot to do with it.

The time difference is a little wacky. I can only say good things about them. Yes 3 days is pretty much when I get it to my door step. 

Yea I’m in Mississippi and FedEx is in Memphis. They fly straight from Japan to Memphis and within 24 hours of landing it’s at my doorstep. Japanese inventory and distribution has always been wildly efficient. 

just like everyone else said, dealing with digitaka is fantastic, 100% of the time.  my only beef with them is the pangs i feel, knowing that getting the same level of service from an american company is extremely rare.
