i got the mbr784c imx and can't wait to get on the water with it.

Good choice with the IMX.  I love the loomis rods, i have that model in gl3 and use it for jigs primarily.

Very nice choice!! One of my favorites for sure!! (don't believe me, look in "tacklemaking" in about 1 hr. )

We have a lot in common... my blank was a Christmas gift from my wife! Nothing like a great wife!! ...lol

Nice, I'm trying to talk my wife into a new rod this year. Been looking at some of the GL2's. I have a 10'6 Loomis for surf casting, they are sweet.

You're going to love that rod but their is only one problem with it.  Once you fish a G. Loomis IMX or GLX, it is hard to fish with anything else.

Very nice rod, I bought a 783 IMX before Christmas for jigs and t rigged worms, but took it back yesterday and got th 843 IMX instead.  I really like the 783, but decided that a little longer rod for jig fishing would be better.
