About the time I think, I have them figured out, they prove to me I don't!

@Pat Brown Everytime I hear someone say, all "scopers" do is stare at a screen, I just walk away.

53 fishing Toledo Bend y'all wanna guess how many hours I've spent staring at a screen?

That's some nice information to have.

.

You’d have to log some serious mileage walking if you read a lot of bass resource 😂

Hate it for both of us,

but I am right there with ya ~

Last two trips on two different lake Menderchucks.

I went Sunrise to Sunset, (Plus the drive) which is a marathon for this OG.

Got No Bass - so you did better than me.

Worst part for me is,

I'm clueless as to when the smallies are and perhaps more importantly,

where the heck they might show up next.

Expect better results here in Oct and it's

Not the way I want to wrap up any season.

But I'll keep fishing when I can

and we'll see what happens.

Might have to breakout the Old Town Canoe

and play some small ball.

Help me . . . .

😎

Brutal.  All of the sudden my 3 or 4 hour scoreless muskie outings don't seem so bad.

My advice: Fish with @T-Billy. He has a nose for muskies.

Ya and he goes for like 10 or 12 hours straight too! I'm out of energy after about 4 so the rest of the time I'd be sleeping. :snore:

My advice then is to troll. Duct tape a rod to your hands and use a GPS program to keep you trolling for hours while you sleep.

P. S. - Duct tape yourself to your seat too. Muskies are powerful.

T-Billy has a nose for dinks lately. 😂 It's been a steady diet of low to mid 30's lately, and only one or two per day. I had one about 40" to the net today, but buggered up the net job. 🤦‍♂️ Ended up with a 33.5" and a sub 30.

Surface temps have just dropped into the upper 60's, and the forecast looks good for the cooling trend to continue. Should be some big girls showing up in the shallows soon. 🤞

@gimruis, I've been slacking lately, only fishing 6-8 hrs per trip. That'll change soon, once the big's start moving up in the creeks.
