Well guys, I’m looking for options for  durable yet softer carbon line between 20-25 pound range. I’m a long time Yozuri line user but this is specifically for my flipping setup. I know it seems like a misnomer but tough yet soft. 

I use 20# sometimes 25# Shooter for most all flipping/pitching in fairly heavy to moderate cover. 
It has everything I’m looking for in a flipping line but don’t use it for punching 

Don’t know anything about a comparable Yo Zuri line.

Seaguar AbrazX would be my #1 choice

That’s a much better price 34.99 for 200 yards, I can get at least two maybe 3 fills. What’s its strength to you? Soft, tough? Is it wiry like YO is? Yozuri is good line but at 20 or 25 it’s just unruly. I want a little better performance without spending huge money on line. Appreciate the info 

I just checked TW, I really like Diawa Samurai Hidden but it is pretty pricey at 45.99 for 220 yrds. I haven't tried but I just might. OMG cheap.  TW has the Diawa J-Fluoro for 14.99 for a 200 yrd spool and it doesn't make a difference what lb test.  All of the spools are 200 yrds @14.99. For that price I'll get a spool just to test and see how manageable it is.

The abrasion resistance, knot strength and more subtle with greater cast distance than you would except from a higher diameter flouro line. 
 

I’ve heard all good things about Seaguar’s  

AbrasX also 

 

As far price, you get what you pay for from both.

I’m gonna order some and see, if it’s good or bad I’ll talk about on here. 2nd up is either the Daiwa Samurai or Seaguar AbrazX as another option.

AbrazX is, as the name implies, very abrasion-resistant - the most of all Seaguar FC lines.  It holds up well to a full day of flipping and pitching (my favorite way to fish).  It casts very well and has minimal memory, which is difficult to achieve with fluorocarbon.  However, Seaguar invented fluorocarbon fishing line and is the only manufacturer that controls the complete end-to-end production of all its fluorocarbon lines.  So...they achieved it.

Can’t go wrong with Sunline shooter, sniper, or seaguar abrazx.

20# and up Sunline Shooter.

 

I’ve used Shooter this full season and not once did i have a single issue with abrasion, knots, or break offs. It’s what I trust.

Loved Sunline Flipping FC, but it seems to be discontinued.   I am going back to Abrasx.

If you're using it for flipping, no reason to put 100 yards on your spool. Fill it most of the way with some cheap mono then just put a 50 yard topshot of the flouro on. I use Tatsu and it makes the $50 spools more reasonable when I can spool 4 times off a 200 yard spool of line. Abrasx is great line also and when you cut that $35 price tag down to $8.75 a fill up, it's barely more expensive than a quality mono. 

^ I don't fill any of my reels with mainline....backing then 65-70 yds - so 3 fills from my InvizX is $7 or so a reel.

I use seguar tatsu in 25lb for flippin/pitchin and even punching. Some will say I’m crazy for not using braid, but I just love the “slack” line sensitivity that FC gives.
