Nico should never work in people management ever again. That man has no business making decisions that change people's lives like that. Like Jerry Krause but significantly dumber.   It's the

That’s just the payoff for trading Luka to the Lakers…

Yeah, should of put "scored" in quotes the first time...

I will be the first to admit that I'm not a die hard basketball/NBA person.  But I watch the Timberwolves and some of the other playoff games when I'm able to.  I don't see many of the 9pm or later starts, I just don't have the energy to stay up for all of it.

The Warriors without Curry barely look like a playoff team.  They are certainly not worthy of being in the final 4 of the western conference.  The Wolves are deeper and my prediction is that it ends in game 5.

A Knicks-Wolves final would be pretty epic.  The storyline alone of Towns playing his former team would create a lot of drama.  It appears that both teams benefited from that trade.  Randle has been good for MN and Towns has been good for NY.

The overall failures of the 4 major pro sports teams here in MN is well documented.  None of them have even made it to the final round/game since 1991.  We cling to any success we can now.

@gim the T Wolves have something special in Edwards for sure. Reminds me of Kobe a little bit. I think this is his league now and I have a feeling he’s gonna win a championship sooner rather than later in Minnesota.

The problem is that when he goes cold, he goes ICE cold.  Little more consistency from beginning to end would round out his game.

@gim- that has been the problem for the warriors all season and the past couple seasons- top heavy and no depth.  Without curry, they don't have a true point guard to bring the ball down the court.  Green fouls or gets ejected often enough that they need a backup big (or even a true big) in the middle.  Adding butler was a good move, but still relied on the big three to stay healthy.  The lakers were in a similar situation.

Contrast that with the wolves and thunder who have guys in the 6-7-8 role that would be starters on lots of other teams.

I'm shocked about NY and the cavs though.  I didn't think the knicks would make it to a 7th game let alone be up 3-1.  I saw a game as MSG a month or so ago and they didn't look playoff ready.  Meanwhile the Cavs have been outscoring everyone but 10+ on average.

Haliburton is a killer. Dude is stone cold. He has made me a fan.

Biggest collapse in NBA history " Knicks ".

Yes I'm starting to like this young Pacers team, Hali and Nesmith looking like Jordan and Pippin 😁.

OKC made Ant man look like cAnt man.

I'll be up again tonight.

Looks like the tables got reversed heavily in game 3.  Ant man and company made OKC look incapable.

I still feel like the Timberwolves aren't going to win this series but they gave their home fans a treat last night and aren't going to get swept now.

Yes, hope Minnesota makes it interesting.

I do think OKC vs Indiana would be an interesting series.

The legend of Haliburton just keeps growing. Never seen a player so clutch.

Yeah, but I’m still taking Haliburton!

Over big shot Bob with 7 finals rings? Come on now……

If we’re just talking clutch, I’ve never seen a player who can seemly will in a winning bucket at the buzzer over and over like Haliburton. Horry has the career, even if he may or may not have been riding the coattails of Hakeem, Duncan, and Kobe. Oops, did I say that out loud?

And Nico Harrison has been fired 9 months after what is probably the stupidest move a GM has ever made in the big 3 pro sports. And almost undoubtedly will never work in an NBA front office again.

@Jar11591- I’m off today and not fishing so I’ve had espn on all morning.  It was announced and the basically let it pass because it is the least interesting or surprising thing happening in sports right now.
