I've caught fish with lots of stuff on the snipers - I mostly just use old t rig plastics 🙂

Can't go wrong with speed craw/rage menace/super Chunk/swimbait etc.

I usually just bite off some plastic on longer plastics to make the whole thing more compact.  That's about it!

Awesome! I’ve started saving my Texas rig plastics for exactly that purpose lol. And I was thinking about doing just that. Biting some off

Grab some rage tail ned bugs. Jig on the right (except that’s a lil man jig).  The middle is the 3” rage bug which is a good choice also.

Why are some

jogs cut like that with hair poking out around the head and some are a continuous drape where you can see the head?

Well, these are different jigs. The middle one is a bitsy bug.

why do jigs exist with each of those styles?  No idea.

I just picked some up for heavier cover pitching for this year.  I normally fish a rage bug for that, but the scoun bug is a little tighter and should slide through easier.

Yeah, sometimes I like a tighter, thinner craw profile instead of more aggressive ones like the Rage Craw.
