While not any more durable than the Rage Bug, the Reaction Innovations Spicey Beaver has worked well for me.  I use the Spicey Beaver for jig trailers, and the Rage Bug for when I fish the bait solo.

I’ll check those out I’ve never really used much by them. Always wanted to just never got around to it. 

All the rage is is that flap at the end of the claw, tail, arm. Whatever SK happens to be imitating. A scroll down Tackle Warehouses soft plastic craw offerings and there are at least 10 other companies that offer a similar mold. Bait companies have been copying each other since the dawn of marketing. 

 

IMO while not built exactly like rage products and some of the other knockoffs, the Yum Christie Craw has some funky claws that catch a lot of water.  They are obviously priced right.

wanna trade?  I love the look and feel of a dbomb, but aside from one fish where it was a jig trailer, I haven't caught a fish on one.  

I agree, for swimming on a weighted hook or dragging, the rage bug and menace are tough to beat.

 

If you shop around on-line you can often find them on sale at random tackle shops. Usually tough to find the colors you want for less.

That’s what got me too.  DSG had a special on them and I think I bought 6 colors and 2 sizes out of it.  They look great and I know that lots here really like them.  They use aren’t the thing for me.
