Are you using anything from GOOGAN SQUAD?

Featured Replies

I have seen zero marketing, zero whatever "googan" is and bought the baits because my local BPS has them and the blister pack packaging, bait designs, colors, price per pack and the selection offered all looked good and I bought them and will buy more when I need a senko type bait or a punching caw thing.  Might even try the rattling Ned next.  I actively avoid all marketing about basically anything unless its a breakdown of the nuts and bolts of what it is which is rarely the case.  I am immune to propaganda.

Their 1pc rods are known to become 6pc rods within a few days of fishing. Their baitcasting reels were so atrocious that they discontinued them within months. Why would their spinning reels be anywhere near acceptable?

“6 piece rods” 😂

Never heard of them 😯

Heck yea I do! I love Googan Bait. image.jpeg.0f7d1346f24cca441c3e38010e542cea.jpeg

I’ve had good luck with bandito bug, bought a bunch on a good sale. Don’t really care about the guys that started the brand.

I've found a couple of bandito bugs that I have used as trailers.  I have also found a banger crankbait, but I need to put hooks on it.  Other than that, no.

I grab the plastics when I find them for $2 a pack at Ollie’s.

Don’t care about them or their YouTube or any of that. The plastics catch fish just as well as anything else you can get. Seen plenty MLF guys flipping the Bandito Bug before. If it’s good enough for them it’s good enough for me.

Would I buy them at full price? No. But I rarely pay full retail for any of my gear.
