Never even looked at them in the store much less use them.

I think I used one of their lures once that was given to me. Not a brand I go looking for and not interested in right now.

Never bought anything from them for obvious reasons, but back in 2023 i found one of their cranks on a tree. Tried it, and it was impossible to burn or use in the curent because it would rise up. Few months later, i got snagged with it, line snapped, i said FINALLY, and that's that.

Anyone have experience with their spinning reels?  Not interested in their rods or baits...

Their 1pc rods are known to become 6pc rods within a few days of fishing. Their baitcasting reels were so atrocious that they discontinued them within months. Why would their spinning reels be anywhere near acceptable?

i don't know, that's why i asked. i am sure they don't make any rod or reel.

How many did you catch with it in those few months?

You wouldn't force me to use it. But when they were on sale, i watched a decent amount of vids of 1rod1reelfishing using them, and they looked and sounded like some $19.99 reels from amazon.

No

I have a couple of their frogs, I have a black and a white frog. The hooks on them are better than other brands I've used. I put the frogs in some boiling water to soften them up and they have worked out good for me. Beside the frog I don't have any of their other baits.

No, I could never bring myself to do it.

I tried a couple different size Bandito Bugs.  That was it.  They didn't do anything for me or the fish.

My son caught a couple on their lipless crankbait. It doesn't seem bad.

I haven't used any googan branded baits. Don't really hate them as much as some other people seem to but there isn't really anything that has specifically made me want to try them either. I do own several bass mafia daingerous swimbaits and believe that's the same parent company as googan...and for the record that doesn't bother me.

I personally don't like treble hooks and generally don't use them unless I'm in a tournament (which I don't do all that often) and switch out my treble hooks anyway, so I really like their loaded swimbait better than the magdraft and it's a better choice for me as it's a single hook line through. I also like the weedless versions and have used both and found the retrieve on them is better than a magdraft at certain speeds.

Not interested in starting an argument with any megabass superfans but the daingerous, in my humble opinion is one of the best value swimbaits in it's class right now and I'm not about to stop liking it just because other people don't like the googan brand.

Come on guys, those who started the brand have millions of views on youtube, their stuff can't be bad😁

I have got a couple of their baits in Mystery Tackle Boxes. They're decent enough, my problem with their stuff is they're really just copies of other brands, but made a little larger, when I rarely need a larger profile bait than what's been available as standard sizes.

But you know what was bad? They had signature series rods from Favorite that were $150 some years back. They had a bunch in a store in my area and you could hold the rod halfway down the middle and flick the tip and couldn't feel a thing, probably the deadest rod I have ever seen that should have been $20 but they jacked the price up. Those rods were beyond just bad. I haven't seen their newer signature rods, but at least they made them cheaper, but after how bad the prior line was, I definitely couldn't be bothered.

In a word, no

The Googan rattling ned worm is a great bait.  I bought some on clearance, and it made me a believer.  4.5/5 on Amazon with nearly 17k reviews.

Bandido bugs... also their green pumpkin and purple color is great..

Besides that, I did not see any other original baits that would convince me of buying their stuff.. I really do not care that the faces of their company are some "dumb" kids (dumb enough to be very wealthy kids)

I’ve tried some of their soft baits when they were on clearance. I think they were called Lincoln logs.

Never cared for the product or brand. More marketing then anything else.
