@woolleyfooley Yes sir.

Sweet! Does that combo catch a decent amount of fish for you?

7 inch Senko is a popular jig trailer in Mexico.

I've caught an handful of good LM on that combo dragging it painfully slow in the dead of winter.

Cool! Thanks! Do you trim the skirt at all? Oh and what length worm do you normally use?

Keitech’s Krazy Flapper for warmer water and more action. Yamamoto’s large Flappin Hog for cold water and less action are my picks.

A 7/0 hook is a big ask though. My choices might not be big enough.

When I fish a big mop I leave it full and usually add a 10 or 12" worm. I've swapped back to the creature/craw trailers so I can also catch Spots. The big jig/worm hit to hook ratio wasn't cutting it with their smaller mouths. In LM only lakes I'll have it tied on.

I’m definitely going to give it a shot down here in south Florida! Thanks for the tip!

I’m looking for a craw or beaver style trailer that would match up to a 7/0 jig hook. Magnum rage bugs are on my list but I’m not quite sure if they’ll be big enough. Any other recommendations?

Is it going on the MB giant jig?
