What are your Favorite Westerns?

Featured Replies

Tombstone, High plains drifter, No country for old men, Django Unchained. The hateful 8.

Those, plus The Magnificent Seven (both the old one and the more recent one.) Any Clint Eastwood western. Bone Tomahawk.

Nobody has mentioned "Old Henry." Maybe not many have watched it. A very good Western with a dirty gritty western look to it.

Old Henry was a good one !

I will second Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns, Tombstone and Unforgiven. When I was recovering from my knee replacement, I had quite a bit of TV time. I watched a TON of shows I never watched before and I am in my early 60s.

Gunsmoke and The Rifleman. Where were these all my life?

Speaking of Gunsmoke. After retirement we spent some years traveling the country with an RV. I found a website (old time radio), that has all the old Gunsmoke radio episodes, we listened to many during those long days on the road. It got pretty addicting.

Great movie, with an interesting twist.
