2026 Megabass Levante Refresh

Featured Replies

Refresh of the entire Megabass Levante lineup coming in 26’.

Authorized dealer posted initial images on their social media yesterday, and they look super sharp. Same color scheme as the P5’s.

Full casting and spinning models.

Wonder what MSRP will be… hopefully they’re a bit lighter too.

Love my Levante Perfect Pitch.

The hookup tackle mentioned in their weekly video today MSRP is not changing, but release isn't until late summer/fall so well see if anything changes by then.

Tackle bros just did a very brief overview of the 2026 Megabass new releases. Those new Levante rods look great at $200. Clearance current models should be nice too!

If they're $200, this will be the best looking rod made to date at this price. I know some said the MSRP isn't increasing, but i don't believe it. Expecting a $299-349 price.

I’d say he’d know. What guides are on these rods anyway? I’d love to snag a 6’8” if they make that in a Levante series.

I have been fishing the current model in spinning and its a great stick! Looking forward to these.

Its crazy the amount of models they're launching. If this is indeed $200, this will be the most dominant line of rods on the market.

Looks like the Casting side is pretty similar to what they already had but doubled the spinning

Meanwhile Shimano jacked up the price of the Zodias B to $260.

Obviously no one’s fished either yet but this appears to be well-played by MB.

Doubt I’ll consider a Zodias.

At the ~$200 price point you’re getting access to a couple amazing lines. Victory, Tatula Cork, and now Levante. Shimano doesn’t see as concerned with keeping things affordable because they already own such a large market share. Almost every single local shop and big box store exclusively start with Shimano and Daiwa.

I’m glad other brands are holding the line and providing interesting rods at a decent price point. I’m excited to find out more about the new swimbait rod and some of the BFS sticks.

@TNBankFishing The Curado rods really should be Shimano's core ~$200 line but they really seem to not care about those rods at all. Surprising considering how popular the Curado reels are.

That is an excellent point. They should build the lines to match in price and performance. Maybe it’s a case of name recognition with Zodias and Expride.

I still think a curado spinning rod is weird lol considering there are no curado spinning reels haha

Saw the model breakdown from an authorized dealer last night. I’m super excited for that 7’3 casting version. Definitely going to grab these upon release later in the summer.

They look really good for the price. I have one the previous version, the Jerkbait Special and it's fun rod to fish. I think it will dominate this market area of rods just on looks alone.

Probably so, also the most difficult to obtain..

I think if the Curado rods had cork grips, they would sell waaaay more. I have some EVA foam grip rods but I much prefer cork or carbon.

There are multiple 4pc rods that interest me in this lineup, especially the F9-711LV 4P Megalathan. Glad they're taking 4pc rods more seriously, they're so practical compared to the rest.

I’m also hyped to build a camping travel set. Hopefully we get enough stock to cover all of the needs.

I was excited until I saw the reel seats on the casting models. Unless I am wrong, doesn't look like they will play well with Shimano.
