The names used to describe lures are nuts.

M.M.III

Stands for margarita mutilator I think. Couldn’t tell you why that company decided margarita mutilator was so important of a name they had to attach a “III” suffix to one color. I also have no idea what it means to be a margarita mutilator. Might as well call that color “peanut butter jelly time” because that’s what it reminds me of.

All that aside I love that color. MMIII / 10. Good show

I find the "standard colors" ridiculous.

After all isn't it easier to type green than seedless watermelon.

I don't know what the pumpkin capitol of the world is but I live in New England and have seen my fare share of pumpkin patches. I have seen green pumpkins but I have never seen a green pumpkin the was actually the same or even close to the fishing industries green pumpkin. Not sure why we can't use olive.

While we are on the subject of pumpkins, I can only describe a ripe pumpkin as orange. No other color effectively describes it. Unlike the fishing industries pumpkin. Which could be described as flesh, peach, maybe pale orange. To add to the confusion, pumpkin is one of these colors that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I had to look up Merthiolate because I could not spell it. I can spell pink however. Turns out this an actual medication that is colored hot pink so I get where the name came from but hot pink is still easier to spell.

My favorite by far is Chartreuse. Even the definition cannot decide if it is yellow green of green yellow. This color was named after a French drink Green Chartreuse or Yellow Chartreuse. I'm not sure what they are talking about but both drinks are very green and certainly not florescent.
