I'm thinking about a different rod for throwing flukes...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Primary use is for LMB, secondary is for SMB, and thirdly for Stripers / hybrids. Thanks !

For my senkos I use a Medium 6'6'' Fast Action Cabelas XML Rod.  Works great for me.

I think you limit ur casting if u use heavy action action rods ,with a med fast u can whip a fluke pretty much anywhere with point blank accuracy

My main spinning outfit is a Shimano Stradic 2500 on a St. Croix Avid 7' Medium Power Fast Action. I mainly throw flukes and senkos for river smallmouth and largemouth. The Medium power Fast action is perfect for these uses IMHO

I use a St. Croix AC68MXF for senkos. It has a some give in the tip that helps when casting, put has plenty of backbone.

I use a 7' MH fast. I have no problems casting a weightless senko or a 1/8 oz T-rigged worm. A Medium is too soft for me personally. I usually fish from the shore and there is always some sort of cover around. So the MH sure does make it a little easier.

I use a fenwick light action fast tip rod... it feels like a medium to me, i love it

I use a bps pro-lite finesse baitcast combo.

I use a BPS Finesse rod in medium action.  This rod is awsome.  I wish they made the same rod at the same price in a MH action.  Of course then I guess it wouldn't Be "Finesse".

For 4" senkos and flukes, I use a EC68MXF.  For 5" senkos I'll go with a 7' MH fast....there's a lot of plastic and salt in them five inchers.

Thanks for all your replies!  Looks like the majority indicates either a Med or MH, but definitely Fast action.  I'm kinda leaning towards the MH, since I will be using it for Stripers some.  I appreciate all of the great feedback!

For fishing soft plastics, I have a strong preference for spinning tackle.

i use a fenwick eagle gt 6'6" M power F tip with a pflueger president 35x, yo-zuri hybrid 6# line for throwing 5" senko's.

7" senko's i switch to my fenwick elite tech 6'9" pitchin stick MH power F tip with a revo sx and yo-zuri hybrid ultra soft 12# line.

For 4 inch Wacy Rigged; Fenwick Eagle GT Spinning rod 7' Med/Fast with a President X6735, 8# Cabelas Pro Line

For 5 to 7 inch T rigged; I use a 7 ft  Techna AV(Old one) med/fast Pflueger Trion Baitcaster, 12# Cabelas All Pro Mono

For Senkos there is but one rod.

G Loomis BCR893 GLX, with a Daiwa Steez 103. It will become one of your favorite combo's, trust me.

For Senkos I like the G.Loomis BCR 803.  

With just about any plastic I like a medium or medium heavy rod that is good and stiff. Stiffer rods feel ticks better and set hooks through plastic better.

Gary77 and Hotrod share my opinion.  I LOVE the PBS finesse rods.  I have the 6'6 ml and 6'6 m.  They are super light and sensitive.  I use the ml to throw weightless trick worms and the med. to throw Senkos.  You can catch them on sale for $70.  For that price the Med. action would be perfect for you.l

I am with you bro.  If they made one in MH I would buy several.  I have a Pro Qualifer which has the same graphite modulus count but it still feels heavier.
