Who's the reel guru?

Featured Replies

I will probably have all my reels gone through this winter.  Who's the reel guru that can clean and lube my reels (and upgrade the bearings and drag washers) .

Shimano ch50mg's, Revo STX's, BPS JM elite Sig series'.

Is one guy good at all of them, or are there brand specialists?

Lastly, whats it cost?

Delaware Valley Tackle. They're a sponsor here 8-)

IMO, "up-grading" the bearings in your STX is a waste of money.

I've only used one and was EXTREMELY satisfied with his work and that was the REEL MECHANIC.

Mike helps pay the freight around here. Give him a shot.

I sent him mine as well.  I was super impressed with his work.  The fee was great and he donates a portion of the fee to a worthwhile charity.

Mike put some ceramic bearings,  aftermarket drag washers and serviced my chr. 50mg.  The turn over time was great and the discount worked out great too.  Come winter I will be giving him some more business,  for sure!!!
