Had 30lbs today and my dad had 14lbs in our club tournament. Our best 5 combined was 33lbs. I had 3 fish between 7- 10lbs jump off. My big fish i caught was 9.5lbs.  Lots of tournaments coming up, but

  • Well two days in & only 3 fish ?   But one was tagged BassCashBash which I was registered in, it won me a 2019 Dodge Ram!

I thought it would be appropriate to bump this thread after hearing the bad news of @Catt's passing.  I don't fish Toledo Bend but this is a very interesting read for anyone.  I know Tommy took a lot

Y'all be careful.  That storm tore us up last night.  All cars and house are heavily hail damaged.

Caught a few keepers this morning. Only pattern we can get on is pitching behind the hay grass with a watermelon red senko so that makes the areas you can fish very limited.

Ya got over 1,200 miles of shoreline!

Yeah going to hook up to the boat. Be headed down tomorrow morning!

Everyone be careful, lots of people on lake this weekend.

Just got back from fishing housen. Started late due to the rains this morning. Launched at 944 with hopes of fish in buck brush. Slow bite until the sun was out for a coupe of hours. Bull creek was heavily stained and 65 degrees. Only a couple of small ones there. Went to ash more where the water was clearer and temp 67. Caught nicer fish there. Flipping jigs in the heaviest cover. The fish were holding tight to cover for sure. At least for us they were. Many boats working areas of hay grass. Over all a decent day with some solid 2-3's. I'm hoping by next week they'll be more fish shallow

Hi guys, my name is Jon. I've been reading this post for a while now and I'd like to thank all of you for the huge amount of information you've all contributed.  I'm at Toledo now for the second time, the first being last weekend and it was a nightmare,  and I'm staying at Wildwood. I'm going to give her a shot tomorrow around the 1215 area. May head south? Wish me luck! Thanks guys!

Welcome and good luck buddy!

Persistence pays off after being blown all over the place by big north winds for two days.  11.33 caught in Indian Creek at 19:00 on Sunday.  Flippin a beaver style plastic with matching punch skirt weighted with 1/2 oz tungsten.  Sorry its not a better pic.  Cold and tired and still shaking at this point.

Now that's a Hawg! ;)

Congrats!  Biggest I could get in the boat was 8 lbs 5 oz. today.  Lost two in the same size range. Caught over 15 this afternoon, lost count. Not sure what my problem is this year. Maybe the tennis elbow is worse than I thought. Never played that game lol.

Caught well over 100 fish yesterday. Had 20+ over 4lbs and my big one was 7.4.  Had one I figured was 11+ come off about 10 ft from the boat.  Still sick over it!

Sounds like fun !!  Any details on depth and baits ? Gonna be up that way all next week!! Spring break.. Any water clear enough to site fish?

Water was still too dirty to sight fish.  I literally caught fish on everything I threw.  Don't think you got to do the same thing as everyone else to catch them

Sounds like one hell of a day. Sucks the DD didn't make it to the boat! I'll be headed up this coming week (tues-thurs). Will post report when I get home.

OMG LOL! That's taking it to new heights.

No fishing today, cooking duties. I really enjoyed having lunch with the guys yesterday at Fin and Feather.

Happy Easter everyone!
