I can do one of two things here: Buy a large tackle box (hard or soft) or I can buy 3 or 4 of those clear utility boxes. If I go with a large tackle box, it will take up floor space in the boat which I'm already stumbling over stuff. If I go with 3 or 4 utility boxes, I could store them in my dry storage of the boat (available space is  23L x 13.25W x 10H - 2 of these spaces are in my front deck). I would like to be able to put all my worm packages in one container (about 20 pks), then all my zoom baits in one container (about 20pks), then I need something to hold about 8 crankbaits, 8 spinnerbaits, maybe 8 topwater baits (buzz, jerk, frogs). Can someone please help me manage this? It would be nice to just store individual boxes away in the dry storage in the boat, don't you agree? What boxe(s) do you recommend? Thank you for helping!

no one box is really better than another  buy maybe 1 bigger spinnerbait and buzz bait box   then a large flatter box for your cranks then buy 3 worm and softbait binders  thats what i would do    

Target has a nice little tackle box that would be nice for you. And you can fit it into storage boxes.

Individual boxes are the way i like to go too...

For all of my soft plastics, i have two large Plano boxes that allow me to keep them in the original packages and well organized. Just make sure the box you choose is deep enough and that the compartments are changeable to fit bag sizes. These boxes are rather big, but it sounds like you're already on top of that and they'd fit in your dry storage.

I too only have so many cranks, jerks, and topwaters(particularly hard and frogs), so i store all of them in one box. So i basically have all of my baits with trebels, plus a couple of frogs in one box. Once again, just make sure the box you pick has adjusting compartments.

For spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, i personally like using a binder. I feel that they are best secured here, plus it is pretty compact. I'm not a big fan of the spinnerbait type boxes, as i don't like all of the blades bumping into each other every time you move. I find that storing these baits is the most difficult for me - i'm always questioning and looking for better ways. In fact, i won't even take them out of the package until i'm ready to use them.

I also have another box soley dedicated to spinnerbait skirts, but i fish spinnerbaits probably more so than any other lure so you might not need that.

I have another box for which i keep all of my hooks, weights, and carolina rigging accessories.

And finally i carry another Plano utility box(you can buy one with no compartment or adjustable compartments) to carry all of my other accessories - plyers, toe-nail clippers, scales/tape measurer, line, etc

If you want to leave these in the dry storage of your boat, i'm sure that would work good and give you your desired deck space and organization.

I carry all of my boxes in a duffle bag. Soft tackle boxes don't come large enough to carry the containers which i use for soft plastics.

I also have an extra(or two) boxes, in case i'm going somewhere on somebody elses boat and no i won't need all of my stuff. If i know what type of fishing we'll be doing, i'll usually carry everything in a backpack.

My simple plan:

All of my baits/ lures are stored in plastic boxes, on shelves in a fishing room off of my garage.

Everything I think I'll "need" is stored in a XPS 3600 tackle bag; hardware, maintenance gear and line in a hard box.

For the Guntersville trip I have consolidated everything I might "actually fish" into a 12" X 6 or 8" plastic box that opens on both sides. This is the box I will carry on the boat and modify if necessary every day.

Two days there will be three fishing, plus a guide. On those days I plan to carry four rods, two of which will be stored. So, a small box and two rods will be with me while I am fishing, that's all!

You might take a look at Falcons's boxes.  They have some great innovations when it comes to holding specific lures in a custom a made box.

I have a lot of the falcon boxes. They are nice,but around $12 a pop for the 700 series.  You might want to get a 400 series spinnerbait box from Falcon. It holds 15 spinnerbaits.  The medium -size crankbait box is nice too.

However, since you dont have much tackle I would get Bass Proo Shops Tackle Boxes. 5 for $10 is hard to beat during their Spring sale.
