Well folks, its official.....

As of yesterday around 3pm, I am engaged to the only woman I have ever loved. Fortunately for me, she said YES!!!!

Afterwards, I did remind her that I have a fishing trip to attend next spring with some people I have never met    

When she said "that won't be a problem, you can do whatever you want," it only made it more apparent that I picked a good one.

The cool thing about her is the fact that she encourages me to go fishing and hunting as a stress reliever.  She understands how important it is to me and knows how irritable I can get after not being outdoors for extended periods of time. I dont know if there are enough words to explain how much she means to me.

For those of you considering these same actions....by all means, go ahead. The thought of marriage was daunting at first, but when you know the girl you ask is committing to be your life partner, it has a surprisingly calming effect on you.
