Hang in there. It will get better.

Sorry to hear that, Grimlin. Just about everyone in this state is nervous, as  nobody knows if they will be working next year. I surely hope it is only temporary, but if not, i hope you can find something soon. Good luck...

that sucks. id be signing up for un-employment first thing.

I hate to see this happen to folks.  I got laid off from a great job about 3 years ago and just about lost everything we had.  I just stayed positive and made the most out of it.  The master plan has already been laid out and this is just a test for you.  Good luck and I wish you the best!

Sorry to hear, hope a better door opens for you.

When one door closes, another one opens.

like the other guys said im also sorry to hear about you losing your job and pray for something good to come out of this for you.

Man that sucks. Get your rear down and apply for funds to help you while you search. We all pay into the fund so do not feel bad about applying. Good luck.

I feel for you I have been there. Please Grimlin take at look at this quote, a dear friend in recovery gave this to me, during a time of great trial. I am not trying to minimize what you are feeling, but faith is the mortal enemy of fear:

'The will of God  will never take you where the Grace of

God will not protect you

You are in my prayers

A factory (Baldwin Custom - they build pianos) in my small town just laid off most of their workers yesterday.  The entire plant will be shut down in a few weeks.

Good luck, I hope something better come along for you! I think there are a lot of people worrying about jobs right now.

I'll pray with you.  Rest assured, it is temporary.

I feel for you.

Just to let you know their are others out there  ...... I graduated in May.  Had a job lined up with my family business (ran by my grandparents) for about 5 years now.  Plan was to graduate and then they would show me the ropes of their business and then they would basically semi-retire.  I worked for them this summer and their business was REALLY REALLY down.  I kind of saw the writing on the wall and luckily my grandparents were thinking the same thing and decided it was probably best if I found a different job for the time being.  So that was September.  I have been seeking full time employment since then, but have only worked 3 "contract" jobs.  My last one ended last week so I am back on the hunt.  It SUCKS!!!!  I feel your pain.  I guess I am lucky as in a don't have any financial obligations (family, house payment, rent, etc.)  I really feel for those people.  Good luck and hang in there.

I'm really sorry to hear that, grimlin. I hope you find something better in the very near future.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe the new administration can get things on the right track soon.

On the bright side, maybe we can do a little more icefishing. Check your PM's
