Attaboy Muddy! Attaboy Gary!

Congrats!!!!

I really admire you "aged" fellas that go back to school. I know that can't be the easiest thing to do.

  • Super User

Muddy, haven't known you long enough to know what you were schoolin' in, but congratulations.  Nice going!

  • Super User

That's GREAT Muddy!

So, does a seasoned graduate like yourself have any advice for us newcomers that will be heading to college next year?

  • Super User

You got the BS right... :D

  • Super User

Congrats!

Hookem, where are you planning on seeking your higher education?

Awesome Muddy I was just wondering how your final went. Most importantly Congratulations!

I've narrowed it down to three schools:

Arkansas State University, Missouri State University, and Hendrix College.

ASU recently upgraded the requirements for their scholarships.  They would have paid me to attend under the old requirements.  Now, I've got to make 29 on the ACT go get a free ride.  I currently have a 27.

I really like MSU and it's location, but I want to stay around my family a little longer.  The possibility of me going to MSU is not very high.

Hendrix is a private school ($$$$$).  It's the best in the state, and will look great on my transcript when I apply for grad school.  If I can boost my ACT in the 30's, I will go to Hendrix.

I took the ACT Saturday, the results should be back around Christmas.  I am eager to say the least.

I plan on going to dental school (go ahead, laugh) in Oklahoma City.  I guess that's close enough.

Norman > OKC

  • Super User

It'll still be the University of Oklahoma.

Did you go to OU?

  • Super User

No, but I've spent time in Norman and OKC.  Wouldn't mind living SW of OKC.

Congrats Muddy man.  Go celebrate with a bid ol' meatball parm sub and ice cold Pepsi.  I'll toast my poptart to ya.

EXCELLENT!

Congats, my friend.

Now, frame that sucker, and put it where you can see it.

You deserve a little mental self-serve pat on the back every now and then.

And, just for record guys, Dominick needed very little tutoring.

Congratulations Dom.

That's quite an accomplishment.
