I'm not doing Bass pro's this year...so i guess i'll join this one.

What's the minimum to spend? I'm probably going over the $30 mark...lol  

$30, that's the limit. Doesn't matter how many items or what it is (as long as it is fishing related), just try to get something you think the other person will enjoy.

It might be a good idea to search through and read the posts made by the person you are shopping for so you can get an idea of what they need, what type of techniques they use, or other information that might help you get the best possible gift.

I was wondering if everyone who is participating would like to mention a few items they could use.  This would help those who are buying for you, and could help avoid getting something you already have triples of.  

I could use soft plastic tubes, 1/4 oz skirted finesse jigs, Smallie Beavers, and soft plastic worms.  

 

Doesn't that kind of take the fun out of this?

Granted I'm only a first-time participant in this, but isn't it a little more fun to let the buyer choose and surprise the receiver?

Yea, I kinda feel the same way.  I wasn't sure, so I threw the idea out there.  If no one bites, that's just fine by me.

If you're going to stir the pot at least have your facts straight Mike. ghoti is not a moderator, he is BR Staff. So, as of right now the count for participating BR Staff is 1, the count for BR Staff/moderators is ZERO.
