Needs to be satin, instead of gloss black, with candy lime green stripes though ;-) ......and a 5kw stereo system of course :-)

Peace,

Well, GM is the sickest of the auto manufacturers.

IOW, I wouldn't buy a new GM now if they were selling them for $10.

If I were looking for a new sports car right now, and could afford it, I'd buy that one RIGHT NOW  :-)

The Goverment is not going to let GM go under. Not to mention the fact, that independant testing shows again and again, that GM builds some of the best vehicles on the road today...... Even though I love my Ford truck too ;-)

That is reason enough to never buy another GM product.

If it wasn't already recalled it would be a little different, the one I heard of made it 40 miles from the dealership before it died and had to be taken back to dealer on a tiltbed....

As much as they tested and pushed this, that quick of a recall is not good.

The recall was for battery cables, so its an easy fix. However how do you test and develop a new car for so long and have faulty battery cables? Did they test it using one thing and start selling with a different setup.

I'm surprised something like battery cables was a problem. Cables are not made by the auto companies but by suppliers, foreign and domestic. The same suppliers make parts for both American auto manufacturers as well as foreign companies. I dealt with 100's of them over the last 35 years.

The quality control has been much improved over the last decade, but perception of American cars is still bad. As long as jobs are in jeopardy the quality control will continue to improve.

That said, I just bought another foreign car. haha

Gm is more a victim of the economy than a bad business model, even toyota was down around 30%

Yup, I want one too!

I'm glad that there is someone out there that thinks like me.

I'm disgust with GSE.

Oh yeah, slick looking car, but come on it made by GM. A Ford Mustang would put it to shame. :D

Camaro is very nice Chris.  However this is more my speed. :)

The new Lamborghini SV.

Those are a hunk of junk.  My "boss"'s wife has one on order.  I sure wouldn't touch it for the price tag.  I would much rather have a Roush Mustang if I wanted something like that.  I don't know what independent testing ranks GM high, unless it is indepedent of every other auto manufacturer other than GM.

That Lamborghini is NICE!!!! I wouldn't buy one, but man that is nice.

Actually, I must be the sick one. While both the Camaro & Lambo are nice to look at, I wouldn't have either. Cars, to me, are a ridiculous expense for the enjoyment factor involved. Just don't love them anymore. For those that do, fantastic.

Yep, owned a few (52) in 38 years. :D

Give me a Dodge challenger any day.

My dad has a Dodge Magnum, That is a nice car

and yeah  it's got a hemi

Root beer, is it just me or does it seem like ford stole the body style off camaro for their 2010 model??

My buddy just picked up his new Camaro last Monday. That car kicks butt.

How do you know GM didn't steal it from Ford? Come on, that argument is older than me. Auto makers been making similar looking cars for years. Just slight different body (not much different) and different motor is all it takes for them slap a different name on it.

I saw one going down the street the other day. I thought it was cool until I saw what it was. Still wanted to turn the BMW 330i I was in and race it though :)

Let me guess....you must be riding around in a Kia to have this kind of opinion.

I've always been a Ford guy so I'll always be skeptical of the Camaro.  ;)  From everything I've read it is definately a fast car.  I just don't care much for the styling.  It looks a bit too much like a Caddy to me.

As much as I want to say I'd take a Mustang before anything I'm really falling in love with a lot of what Dodge is coming out with.  That being said, I think the Challenger is the sexiest car on the road right now.  Get an SRT8 package and it has everything I want.

That's funny to me.

Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, etc, etc, all make fine vehicles. To say one is all good, and the rest are crap, is just plain silly. It really all comes down to personal tastes.

I LOVE my Ford F150. I'm also probably one of the only guys who frequents the Ford forum who LOVES Toyota Tundras.

I think the new Camaro is bad ***..... but the new Mustangs put me to sleep.

Anyway, the fact is, if any of the major car companies really made as crappy a vehicle, as the owners of other vehicles, would have you believe, that company would have been out of business aq LONG time ago.

As I told them on the Ford forum, it's really just a matter pf personal tastes, and if you have to wonder about peoples personal tastes, just look at how many "white" vehicles their are out there ;-) LOL

Peace,

Fish

and the respect grows ;):)

Fishing pirate- I'm a HUGE fan of German engineering, HUGE, but I think you'd be biting off more than you could chew putting a 330 up against that!!  Maybe an M series,......

I agree.  I do think that Ford's styling over the years has been leaps and bounds above the rest.  This and the fact that I've always worked on vehicles with my dad and that's the brand I know best are the reasons why I like them.

Heck, my dad owns a Chevy now and I'd much rather pull the boat with it over my Expedition.

I don't think so...My last Ford was a 1976 Granda, among the worst

vehicles ever built. The same could be said for the final run of the original

Jeep Wagoneer, my last "domestic. I'm glad Chrysler is bankrupt, GM's

pending demise and hope to see Ford follow suit soon.

I own two Toyotas and two Nissan. Previously, three Volvos and a

Honda CRV.  I will never buy another of the old "Big Three".

BTW, three of my four "foreign" cars were built in the USA, my Nissan

here in Tennessee.

Y'all talk Ford vs. Chevy vs. Dodge all day that's one fine car period ;)
