I have somehow fallen into sales for a great John Deere dealership in Iowa, but things seem to be shifting to a more corporate job due to some special abilities!

Carpenter.  I work for the second largest company in this country that builds stadium seating and bleachers.  I build the press boxes for highschool football fields and such.  Most of them are for here in Texas but we build for all over the country.  Have built some for even Alaska.  Just shipped a new box to Conroe, TX last week, and have three more headed for Burlison, TX soon.  So the next time your at your local highschool football game, chances are my company, maybe even me, built that press box up there!!

I sell supplies used to make signs of all kinds.

I'm 26, as stated in the walmart thread, I currently work as a tire and lube technician at walmart, only been doing it for about 6 months, and the only real reason I am doing it is because there aren't any other jobs out there.

before that, I ran an aluminum construction shop, manufacturing hurricane shutters and screened pool enclosures. I worked there for a little over 3 years and absolutely loved it, unfortunately with the economy and building industry, that company fell apart.

I am hoping to be building communications trailers for the defense department in the near future. just waiting on my friend's company to finalize the contract for 600 trailers before I can be hired on.

Unemployed auto steel worker in MI. going on 9 months now.

I used to load 30,000-40,000lbs steel coils and slit them down to size according to customer specifications. Also was the slitter machine operator of those big machines. They usually consist of a 3-4 man crew to run those machines.

General labor & manufacturing jobs are almost non-existence here still.

I'm an analyst in annuity operations for a big insurance company. Not awesome. I'm a quarter-century, although when asked for my ID at the liquor store the other day, the guy asked how old I was and I said 24. Didn't realize until I left. Is 25 too young to be forgetting one's age?
