Like to many to list a favorite.

Second-hand Lions

If you have not seen it, it is well worth the watch. Robert Duvall, Michael Caine, no special effects, very little swearing, just good old-fashioned acting.

Also, Tombstone, Unforgiven, and The Right Stuff rank right up there.

Second Hands Lions and American History X are two great movies that are high on my list.  I also really like Hard Candy, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and The Notebook.  Avatar and the Lovely Bones are two notables for this year.

I've seen and liked most of the ones listed.  Too many others to list for me.  But I would say I'm kind of a Tarentino guy.  Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1 and 2.

The Passion of the Christ

Ohhhhhhhh........ forgot about Clint flicks. Any spagetti western or kirasowa(sp) adaptation. Good, bad, and the ugly. Unforgiven, pale rider. Comedy, overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn is very underrated. I always thought the original robocop was a gem. Most people thought it was a futuristic drama, but I really think it is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen...... so over the top. The scene when they just unload on Peter Weller. So many bullets, towards the end he just starts saying " ow, ow, ow" and then they just stop and complain they have no more amo!! Too funny!!

Apocolypto,Caddyshack,Remember The Titans,Cheech and Chong up in smoke-still smokin-next movie-corsican brothers,Independence Day,Ghostbusters, all the Transformers movies, The Hangover, and all time favorite is The Blind Side

The Notebook. Avatar and the Lovely Bones are two notables for this year.

:-?  I can't believe no one noticed this.

Mine: Godfather 1 and 2, The French Connection, Spinal Tap, The Third Man and Dr. Strangelove

FAO SirSnookalot - any idea if this is available anywhere?  I'm intrigued.

To name a few: The Untouchables, the Hunt for Red October, Caddyshack, the entire Jason Bourne series, and visually Avatar

defiantly pulp fiction

Sorcerer.

From 1977 starring Roy Scheider. It was directed by William Friedken, who did the Excorcist. This is the grandaddy of action films. It was overshadowed by the release of Star Wars and never got much theater time. The bridge scene will blow your mind.

The Quiet Man.

(I'm doing this on my kids wii... cool)

Picking one is difficult.  It would have to be Bogarts' Casablanca.

The Big Lebowski

Such a bad movie

I can't name one..

Some of mine.. Caddyshack, Pulp fiction, lord of war, we own the night, training day, untouchables, donnie brasco, way of the gun, and a bronx tale.

Thunder Road without a doubt.
