As I write this, my 99-year-old Grandmother is lying in a bed in a nursing home, unconscious and struggling to breath.  The doctors have given her 2 days to live.  However, she's a very resilient woman who has fooled the doctors several times before.  That said, this time is different, and the situation is very grim.

Please pray that if the Lord has decided to bring her home, that her remaining time here is pain-free and comfortable.  But if His desire is for her to stay with us a little longer, then pray to give her the strength to heal and come back to us.

She's a very devout Christian, so I know this means a lot to her.

Prayers for your grandmother, you and your family.

God has blessed her, at 99 your grandmother has had a full life.  Our elders spend a life time teaching us who and what we are, passing on life experience, and showing us unconditional love; they are our wealth.  My thoughts and prayers to her for total peace.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts and prayers.  She passed early this morning.  She was comfortable and not in any pain, which were here wishes.  She went exactly as she desired.
