This new rap stuff out there right now is garbage. I'll 100% agree with you.But don't talk crap about the old school rap/hip hop.They would murder your favorite singers on a microphone very quickly. Your only 15 so i wouldn't expect you to know much about the older rap style.Matter of fact I bet these guys could spit words you never even heard of.So they are far retarded from your average spoiled new generation singers.

I'm actually fairly surprised no one mentioned Radiohead or Muse. Sure, Muse kind of sold out when they agreed to have one of their songs put on the Twilight soundtrack and when they started sounding more "Pop-y", but some of their older songs are still great.

Whatever the heck i wanna listen to! Drove this mexican's truck the other day...you know the typical drug dealer looking truck with large chrome rims and no muffler. POS radio didn't work, and all i could find was mexican rap music HA HA! Flip the switch for the subwoofers and i couldn't hear the actual music though. Turned the music off and listened to that Ford V8.

On topic....Typically i'm a modern rock kinda guy. But not the crappy punk, alternative stuff on the radio. Country and western is good when i'm feeling it.

After that it is all noise.

I agree, but I'll stretch that to include most of the 80's.  Strange, but the older I get the less I want to listen to a lot of what I thought was great (60's) and include more of the 80's music. :

The older I get the less I want to hear the same old music from the 60s and 70s.   If I never hear a Led Zeppelin or Who song again I think it'll be just great with me. 

Of course, that comes from working on construction sites for the past 6 years, and that's ALL the radio ever plays.  Those guys freak out and crap a brick if you dare play something that isn't "classic rock."   :

I too struggle with the jobsite radio.

I love heavy metal music.

My boss likes to listen to light jazz, do-***, and christmas music.

The classic rock station is the compromise, and all I have listened to for 7 years. Better than light jazz or christmas music I guess.
