I work out 3 hours a day and they are great shoes.

Im still on Nike shox for tennis shoes! Nothing beats sperry flip flops, and my boots are Red Wing pecos(4445)!

Not tennis shoes but I love Crocs.  Since started wearing them my back pain has been reduced at least 50%.

Asics are the most comfortable shoes I've found.

I have fat feet and have trouble finding sneaks that fit properly, but found some sketchers in eee that fit nice. Normally wouldn't buy sketchers but these suckers fit pretty good. Nice gym shoe for me.

I wear the Asics Gel Frantic for running and usually get close to 6 months out of a pair before the heel breaks down. That may not sound very good, but that's a long time if you're actually running in them.

Once the heel breaks down, I use them for another 6 months as "bumming around" shoes, and then they become grass cutting shoes.

They run ~$85 or so, but you can find them a bit cheaper online. Last year's model usually runs ~$60 at Shoe Carnival.

Asics are my favoirte running shoe, for the same reasons.  But, I prefer New Balance for a "non-workout" tennis shoe.  NB have a great reputation for helping to ease knee, hip, and back pain.

New Balance. My feet are flat and wide and I have screws in one ankle that causes my heel to wear akwardly. The New Balance fit comfortably and my feet aren't fatigued at the end of the day.

New Balance. They come in wide sizes, they're comfortable, they're durable and they don't look gay. I never pay over $50 either.

New Balance or Adidas, except when I think I'll be wading, then it's a cheap pair I got at Wally World for $10.

Sketchers or NB for me.  I prefer the sketchers if I'm standing all day.  Great on the back.

Have a bad arch in one foot, I find it difficult to find a premium sneaker that is comfortable.

I mostly wear deck shoes, sneaker style, the 2 that are most comfortable for me are Sebago fathoms's and Teva helm2, which are now discontinued  >

I have several styles of Crocs and they are very comfortable.

I will vouch for Asics.  I did mess a pair up that was my mistake, so when I went to Dicks I tried a brand  that I do like as well.

as for wading , im still searching for a slide or flip flop that does well in water for extended periods of time. reefs keep catching my eye and are super comfortable , but $50 for a pair of sandals seems kinda pricey to me. has anyone owned a pair of reefs?

Reefs are ridiculous (in a good way)

I usually buy a pair every summer, just for variety. They hold up extremely well, the first pair I ever bought a couple years ago are still in near mint condition (Although They're too small now) They're also like walking on a cloud! I kid you not they are all I wear in the warmer months, and sometimes to school in winter (call me crazy).

I dont know about wading in fast rivers or anything, but the only time I wear my Reef's in the water is when im in the ocean, usually sound side of the OBX. Im too scared they might come off my feet in fast moving water or waves.

They're a really nice 50 dollar flip flop. I'd buy um at 75.

hate Nike shoes.  Try a pair of Aisics and see how you like them.  Go with a pair that normally run 80 bucks and up.  I'm on my second pair and lov'em.  Very comfortable, 10x better than Nike.
