I'm going crazy

Featured Replies

Snowed again last night and its been below freezing for most of the last 2 months.  I'm getting real tired of it and going crazy.

Is it spring yet?

Hang in there , it'll be here before you know it. I hope.

I'm with you Gman, spring can't get here soon enough.

I am with you too Gman.  I keep buying new things and am very anxious to use them.  Yesterday I told my fishing buddy coworker I was going to go out and cast on top of the ice in hopes that a gigantic largemouth would bust through the ice to grab my lure.  I cannot wait for ice out.

I feel your pain!

Yes it stinks, 4 inches of snow today in NW Arkansas, forecast is for temp to drop to 6 degrees tonight.  But it shall pass.

I'm hearin' ya, GMAN!

We've had a spell of really cold weather with a bit of snow and to top it off, we had freezing rain all day yesterday. So now, not only is it cold as all get out, everything is glazed with ice. Makes driving (and walking, for that matter) a real pain. All the lakes are frozen over too.

The one bright spot - I got my BPS catalog last week, so I've been making out my shopping list 8-)

It is going to snow for the 3rd time this week. I don't mind cause I need money for the bait monkey.

Yep, 6 more inches for us folks south of Boston and low teen temps for the weekend. Snow banks are so high at the end of my driveway, my 6 yr old son can climb to the top of it and reach the 1st rung on the telephone pole.

I'm with ya GMAN.  This is the first time we've had a foot of snow from a single snowfall in the St. Louis area for a pretty long time.

we missed that down here.  We have about 3" of snow now.  Odd how about 20 miles makes a big difference.

Our snow/ice is gone and we'll probably be cutting our grass in another month or so.

I am all about the snow, the more, the better. The ponds and lakes in this area are So low and drawn down, we NEED the melt off. We average 150 inches a year and last winter we got less than half that. There is very little shore line structure here as it is, so when the lakes are down it's bad. So I say, Bring it on all winter. I'll deal with the drifts, the plowing and shoveling the roof. But come the spring, I'll be smiling !

I'm mentally not ready to fish yet anyways. (?) Thank goodness i have about 10 more weeks to get there...

No snow/ice. But a major cold front just put central Texas into the 20's. I'm sure some of the upper state could get snow. Not sure tho.

I knew better than to look, but when the furnace kept kicking on every hour or so, I just had to.

Current Temp: -18*

Any forecast on what the wind-chill is going to be when Da Bears take on the Cheese-Heads this afternoon?
