Mike if I can wing it, I am trying to get a special treat down there for the wine tasting, this cheese should be consumed only after the proper critiquing that a good cheese deserves.  I am figuring the logistics as we speak.

And no it isn't Velveeta! ;D

Look at it this way. At least those who have never met Brian won't have to spend three days figuring out what he's saying. ;)

thats coming straight out of Marble Mouth himself

I got big gums Sir.

Okay bubba! ;D

Kent, I appreciate the offer, I just don't see it happening this year, but on a lighter note I have a package being shipped to Mike for your enjoyment.  Hope you fellas enjoy.  My only request would be that you guys use a premium red when partaking.  No boxes or screw top caps. ;)

Knowing that Brian is sending me a package, I have alerted the DEA, FBI, Homeland Security and the Girl Scouts of America.

well...........it's not looking good right now. :-/

The demands of the new job would restrict us to just being there on Wed. Now, the Ladies Trail Pro/Am is May 6-7th on Ky Lake (yes, I'm considering fishing it) . There is a mandatory meeting Wed at 10 am.

We had been planning on being there until this career opportunity presented itself.

Guess we'll just have to give it a little while and see how things play out.

Just a reminder for those of you contemplating the road trip.  On March15 the rooms we have blocked for the attendees will be released to to the general public.

"Important Announcement" from Glenn

I don't want to make any promises, so take this with a grain of salt.  But as it stands today, there's a distinct possibility that Kevin VanDam, Gerald Swindle, Mike Iaconelli, and Dave Wolak will be making an appearance. Everyone wants to do it, and their sponsors are all for it.  So now it's just a matter of if their schedules will permit it.

Again, no promises, but I wanted to let everyone know in case you decide not to go, and then find out later you missed out when you could have gone!

Trying to plan ahead.  How many of you folks will be flying in?  Are you planning on renting a car or are you wanting to thumb a ride if possible?

I'll be flying in around noon to Memphis on Sunday and renting a car so if someone needs a ride we can co-ordinate it and get some folks there....will have the car all week.

I'm not flying.

For those of you who will be attending the Saturday wine and cheese party, Firefightn15 has sent me a half pound of fifteen-year-old cheddar that I will be sharing with all interested parties.

This looks like a lot of fun.  I am interested in attending. I have a few questions:

Is this a get together, a seminar, a tournament ?

What is the objectives of this event and what types of benefits would anglers get from attending ?

It's a get together

You would benefit by meeting Burley. ;D

J/K It's great just to put faces on the names you see on here almost daily.

You also go to a lake most of us won't see again until there's another Roadtrip there.

It's great time and you don't want the trip to end. I hated saying goodbye to everyone on the last day. That was the worst part of the trip for me.
