What a fish! 7.32 lbs (3.32KG) I have always wanted to visit Italy. ;) Congratulations on the awesome record fish. I had originally converted meters to feet :-[ instead of kilos to lbs, but Vyron straightened me out below...  Thanks Vyron.

Ronnie

Actually

3.32 kilogram = 7.319 347 105 lb, lbs

I don't know how is the Italian Record out of tournaments but I think that there are some 4kg bass.

In Europe there are only LAREGEMOUNTH BASS, someone told me that there a private lake with a small mouth in Sweden (but I don't know if it is true), and same private lake with stripped Bass...

I apologize all because on spanish forum I red that in a copetitiona a guy catch a big bass on 3.660 kg.

bye

Not all of those fish were Largemouth's...Some were Spotted. They were beautiful spots too. Congrats to them!

The Spanish record is 4.200 kilograms or something very close to that figure. In Europe they do not have Florida strain bass, only northern strain so their fish don 't get munster big.

  • Author

the 4.200 is catched on Tournament?

If yes... what was the tournament?

Our weather is the same with california and we r doing our best 2 stock florida strain.

So we ll have chance to produce something...  monster in the future.

Anyway ,I know the europian record is in Cyprus (i ve seen her before)

Its a matter of time who will catch her, I hope its one of my buddies or me .

I saw a article abuot Cyprus Bass and I saw some pictures there were great bass!  :D

there will be a tournament (Russian Bass League) in a couple of weeks in Cyprus. This time we'll break European record for sure ;D as there will be a whole bunch of very dedicated fishing enthusiasts running for the whole 3 days after those fatty pigs we have here in Cyprus ;D

Hi Dmitri!

I read your report on Bassmania magazine. Congratulations on the passion you put in fishing!I hope to see you very soon in Italy to fish together.

Hello Everybody,

To Dmitri: Welcome aboard buddy :)!

To Island bassin: The RBL tournament will be held on Kourris, Asprokremmos, and Dhipotamos on November 15, 16, and 17 (which reservoir on which date will be determined by lottery on Tuesday night Nov 14). Nov 13 and 14 are the official practice days - as of tomorrow (Oct 30) all three reservoirs are off-limit all competitors - only Kalavasos left for us! Both Dmitri and I will be participating. Vyron is unable to participate unfortunately (or fortunately judging from his continuing successful roll with 6-7lbers!!! ;) due to work commitments.

To Vyron: It's not too late to persuade the boss!!! ;)

To Cowie: Beautiful bass for a tournament! There are much bigger bass over here, but the fact that participants have to fish from the shore makes it really hard to break the 3Kg barrier, especially on a tournament. Try to persuade your buddies to participate in the next RBL tournaments, it will be fun (if they don't mind fishing from the shore). In which magazine did you read about Cyprus Bass fishing? An article was published in the French magazine "Le Pecheur" maybe a year and a half ago. We hope to see you and your buddies coming over to fish together sometime soon...

Cowie ,sorry for hijacking ur thread.

Dmitri welcome 2 the forum  :)

CyBasser ,we ll kick some @ss  as a team in the next competition  ;D

It is 20 people fully registered up to now, of which 1 Cypriot (CyBasser) and 1 guy from Bulgaria. All the others are from Russia.
