thanks for looking!

Well done!

Nice pig!  I'm been dying to go fishing @ night.  I will have to bring plenty of light since I will be bank fishing and don't want to get bitten by any snakes.  This brings me to my question: Would the light from a lantern impact the bite?

TIA!

Many believe that shining a light to where a fish may be holding can spook them.

I tend to agree and make sure I am very conservative with my light use, and never shine the light into the water.

Lake Mandarin.

Finally located the springs with a little help from the depth finder.

Fishing in this lake is pretty good.  Average a fish every half hour.  And usually at least 2lbs.  sometimes a 3,  Gotten a few 4 pounders and had one pushing 7

Love this place!  Nice to hit after the river hand it to ya.

Nice fish.  What state are you in?  It's a little cold for much night fishing where I'm at with night temperatures in the 20s and some 30s.

way 2 go!!!!!!!!!!

I'm jealous.  I'm definitely planning on fishing more this winter, but there will obviously be limitations compared to Florida.

According to weather underground.  It was about 65 degrees when I caught her at 7:30pm

I was a little chilly even in that sweatshirt.

More to come!

Really nice bass and a great picture. I'm jealous! The night bite here in Va. has tapered off quickly so I'm forced to fish in the daytime now.

thats what im talking about!!!!
