biggest bass  youve ever caught?

Featured Replies

14.3 largemouth in 1969

31 lb striper,

We don't have smallmouth near me so never caught one

Biggest stringer was in Clarks Hill back in the mid 60's, 28 large mouth, between 6.5 and 9.5 lbs, most being 7.5 - 8.5, all along a 200' stretch of riprap in less than two hours.  This was me and a friend, don't know who caught the most or biggest but we both claim to have.

How many fish have I ever mounted that I've caught,  ZERO.  Mounted one 8 pounder for my son he caught when he was eight.  He has released all big bass since then, including one over 10.

How many bass over two pounds have I kept since the early 80's,   ZERO.

Biggest bass I have caught so far is a 5 lb. 10 ounce largemouth out of Patoka Lake in Indiana. Caught it cranking a Firetiger Berkley Frenzy medium diver off of a rocky shore that had some vegitation coming out about 5ft off shore. Fought so hard I thought it was a 7 pounder. Going down to El Salto this June and I'm hoping to break into the double digits there.

i suck biggest was 1 to about 1.5 pounds i think Sm might be Lm, i started fishing 2005

this was mainly because of my stupidity i was fishing in NOWHERE LAND, i wouldn;t gonear tree stumps or anythig like that.

BTW when i caught this i was having a competion who can cast a cb ( we got 4 free) the farthest, it was a pike bait i think so i was casting and i caught this fish. Funny thing is the bait was about 10- 18 cm smaller then fish

It was heavy. Looked big. Somewhere between one and ten pound's? ;D

My best guess is three to four pounds. Well, then again. Now that I think about it... It was closer to ten! ;) :-? ;D

7# in a tiny lake in Western Washington, which isn't a state that's especially hospitiable to bass.  Among my colleagues, it was beaten only by a seven and a half.  In Michigan, I've yet to beat five.  But I have found this one pond . . . .
