Members of BASS

Featured Replies

I am a longtime member of B.A.S.S. and FLW Outdoors.

That might change in the future, but for the time being I think

I paid like 3 years in advance.

Just renewed My FLW membership for 3 years.

BASS one is up soon and I'm not sure if I'll renew or not.

Club is no longer affiliated with BASS, most info in the magazine can be read online for free so I'm kinda leaning toward not renewing.

I just signed up!  guess i made a mistake from what i hear.

time will tell. (haven't received my first issue)

Don't need it, I'm a member of BassResource.com :)

Seriously, anything in the mag that I might be interested in, usually gets discussed here anyway.

I have been a life member since the early eighties. Lots of good articles, although I agree that it appears to be  more profit motavated than in the past but what company isnt today. If you want conservation news there is plenty of info on that in the Bass Times, also tips and techniques and much more. Just my $.02 worth.

I was a member since the 70's till last year when I didn't renew. I just wasn't getting anything out of it anymore.

I'm a member.   Been one of and on since 1978.  I don't get a lot of benefit out of it.  I just treat it as a subscription to a magazine.

I've been a member for a number of years and it has been for the magazine as well.

Member since 2000

I am in a BASS affiliated club, so I have to belong to BASS. I am not leaving my club anytime soon.

I am getting board of the mag

I have gotten:

Bassin

Feild & stream

In fisherman

and FLW mag

gotten board of them to, don't get any of them any more. After a while its the same thing over and over again.

I will continue to be a member. If your in an affiliated club, or fish their tournaments you have to be. There are thing about BASS I do not like and things I do.

I know lots of guys bash BASS, and that is there opinion, I respect that

BASS has evolved and will continue. It may change into something you like or disslike.

Just remember on thing. If it wasn't for BASS, alot of thing we take for granted in bass fishing would not be there today. I am not talking the mag, I talking about the organization, B.A.S.S.

Good point, HPBB.  I've never been a tournament angler, but I am thankful for what B.A.S.S. has done in the past to help the sport.  Every small organization that becomes large has its problems once the bureaucracy begins to take hold.

I'm a member--mainly for the magazine subscription. I'm rather in neutral about both the organization and the magazine, and renewing will be doubtful.

i'm a member..i've been renewing 1 year at a time..each year saying i'm not going to renew but the magazine gives me something to look through during the winter..
