Does anyone else have dreams about bass? I know I have them atleast 6-9 times a month I can only remember one but what I can remember is wakeing up often knowing I just had another fishing dream. The one I can remember is really weird I caught a real big bass 8-10lber in nasty water I ended up diving in to get it lipped it up took it to shore weighted it and it was 0.9 lbs :-? thats all i can remember.

I had a weird one the other night. My brother in law had gotten a shimano core and he totally forgot that he bought it so I just took it and hooked it up on my rod. The funny thing is I dont even own a shimano. That was deffinatly a weird dream. It could be some kind of sign for me to save up for a core though. ;D

Haha I have so many dreams about fishing, mainly during the winter when it's always on my mind.  Some are very very weird, like catching floating bass under my bed lol  ;D.  Others are pretty realistic where I specifically remember what lure I was using, how I was working it, etc.  The weird part is that I almost always visit the same lake in my dreams.  It has the name of a local reservoir around here that I fish a lot but the lake in my dream doesnt look like it does in real life.  In my dream I'll be fishing this made up lake then I'll wake up and think "I've fished there in my dreams before".  It's kinda strange, maybe there's something wrong with me  :-?.

Am I the only one that sets the hook in their sleep???  My wife says I set the hook in my sleep all the time.   Sometimes it wakes me up...

I'm fishing at my favorite lake and I see my line jump, I cross her eyes and the next thing I know I'm in bed with my hands clasped together over my shoulder.

Sure thing, sometimes you hear wanna be studs talkin about bustin the headboard on their bed, well I sure enough did it sett'in the hook in my dreams and my wife thought a car ran into the side of the house.

god this is really weird telling this but i had a dream that iaconelli caught a bass that won him the classic and he did a belly flop in the water and got disqualified for leaving his boat, im pretty upset about this dream because now if anyone ever asked me if i dreamed about a man, i would have to say yes

I had one right before a tourney one time. In the dream I caught a large bass in one section of this lake throwing a Zoom frog but during the tourney no bite. I was all excited when I got to that section but nothing. :'( I came in second though

I've one every year around December.....

Cause I usually buy pretty much all my tackle in December.... mainly restocking plastics, lines, terminal, access.... Not much of a compulsive buyer and I usually buy in bulk.

So the end of the year in usually the time I'm dealing with lures and fishing stuff to buy.... sort of turns into an obsession !

And once in awhile I dream about picking up free expensive hardbaits from logs, timber, brush piles ..Etc in a reservoir right after the water has dropped.

Funny stuff, all lures are usually brand new and available in different colors, every single tree looks like a christmas tree decorated with hardbaits.......

Problem is I can't take them all, there's always more and more.

In the end, I usually wake up and understand I don't really have those 4000+ hardbaits I just found in my sleep.

All the time! I also have nightmares involving bass fishing. The other night I actually dreamed that muddy was a shimano owner  

But on the serious note, I do dream EVERY night about bass fishing. It seems like every fishing dream I have involves me fishing down in Louisianna with the cypress trees in the water, and me pulling bass out of the root systems.

I also dream about fishing in a lake that even though it is deep, there are all kinds of cover sticking out of the surface everywhere you go.

If only those dreams were real....I would love to fish in the cypress waters of Louisianna..... :'(

Now that you mention it I dreamt that I was in the boat with KVD in bassmaster tournament and he was cathing a lunker and he jumped in after it, after it got caught on a log, but he didn't keep one hand touching the boat like IKE did that one time trying to get the line that broke on a fish. He lipped the fish and played around with it for a while and then had to let it. It was really weird and fresh in my mind but still all the details are really foggy, but that is what most dreams are like. It was really really weird, and made me upset that KVD would do something stupid like that.

I have had some funny dreams that involve fishing.

The strangest one has got to be the one where I actually was a bass in the dream. It was strange. I was a bass swimming around. Then I came accross a cheese burger at the bottom of the lake. I ate it and it turned out it was someones bait and I got caught. Then I somehow was able to jump out of the guys boat back into the lake.

I also once had a dream that I was fishing for koi carp with corn inside disneyland in one of their fountains. I ended up catching a koi. Then getting chased around the park by security. I woke up from that one sweaty. Guess I realy didnt want to get arrested.

It isn't always bass either.  Once I had a dream I caught a marlin out of a small pond I fish once in a while.

Wife gets mad everytime I grab her by the lip in the middle of the night.  She's just glad I practice catch and release.

I wake myself up all the time while setting the hook !  :-) One time I had a really wierd one... Which is, I was sleeping, but I really was in my boat with a pole over the side (and a live live crawdad). So, I dreamed (I think) that my pole tip ripped down over the side of the boat. I lunged up, grabbed the pole, and set the hook.... Missed the fish. But afterwards, I honestly couldn't figure out if my pole really did rip down, and I saw it through squinted eyes, "OR" if I completely dreamed the whole thing. Guess I'll never be sure.

But yea', I have had lots of 'almost' normal fishing dreams, where I caught anywhere from standard, to WR sized bass. Then there are the really whacko ones, like catching them through a hole in my bedroom floor :-) .....or, sitting in front of the mall on the edge of a concrete flower bed, turning around and pulling a double digit bass out from between the Ivy :-) What in the heck is that about ??? :-) LOL

Honestly all my fishing dreams have been nightmares. I dream weird stuff like, I'm going to take off for the tournament and look back and my outboard falls off.  :-?
