Can anyone recomend a good BASS magazine? Once upon a time I joined B.A.S.S. but I let the subscription run out.

Would it be worth it to join up again? I'm looking for a couple of good publications on the subject. Especially one with less ad's and more content.

in-fisherman is usually a pretty good mag but isn't bass-specific.

Bassin- I'm subscribed through the Fall issue of 2013.

BassMaster & Bass Times. I receive these magazines because I'm a member of BASS & the Federation Nation. Both are good, but I probably wouldn't subscribe if I weren't a member.

I have subscribed to In-Fisherman and I currently subscribe to Bassmaster becasue I am a BASS member.  I also read Bassin frequently.

Bassin is my favorite fishing magazine because it focuses on bass but the technical aspect of In-fishermen is second to none.

If I would only pick one, it would be Bassin, but as others have mentioned BassMaster is good too. Seems to me BassMaster used to be much better though. Maybe it's just my fading memory, but 20 some odd years ago when I graduated from pan fishing to serious bass fishing, having the Bassmaster magazine show up each month was most awesome. BTW... when did Harry & Charlie get whacked?

Harry and Charlie didn't get whacked.  They finally saved enough money to buy one of them high-dollar, fancy bass boats.  Unfortunately, on their first trip, Harry got the boat on plane, hit a stump, and they're still perched up in the same tree as their Triton.  They'll climb down after a while, and we'll hear from them again.

The FLW magazine is a good one also.

Bass Angler's Guide is the best I have come across.  Bassin is ok also.

Constant harrassment to buy things - Monthly if not more often renewal notices - Paper that can be tightly wound into a fire log.

I've missed issues also. However, I called their 800 number and talked to a very pleasant young woman about the issues missed. A few days later I received the missing issues. So far, I satisfied with Bassin's service.
