Theese two questions are for everyone, but the amount of different times you fish during the day, year 'round, the more informative your answer will be.

Also, I know this answer can change lake to lake season to season, so I ask this generally.

1. Over the years, on the lake you fish most, generally, what's been the time of day when you catch the most bass? Not the biggest bass, but the MOST bass?

I don't need exact times of day but slight specifics would help.

For example, before sunrise? Sunrise to when it starts getting light out? 10am-3pm? Dusk? After dark? Also...

2. What's been your most productive technique at that time? For example, if "Dusk" is your answer, are you catching most of your bass fishing isolated cover in shallow water with a buzzbait? If "high noon" is your answer are you structure fishing jigs in deep water?

From about 6:00 am or 7:00 till about lunch time.

Mid day from about 10:00 to 2:00ish with a jig or some other plastic.

Except summertime, then it is at night.

8:00am-10:00am;5:00pm-7:00pm

For numbers, I'd say from the first hint of sunrise for three hours afterwards.

Baits vary quite a bit, but usually start with a topwater or spinnerbait.  End up the morning switching back and forth between a combo of soft plastics or jigs.

Note to self.... I've got to start fishing more cranks.

8:00am- 10:00 am, expecialy if its close to major-minor..topwater and 10in. worm

9am to 11am

10am-2pm

Early morning 6AM - 9AM.  I call it PRIMETIME.

Most of the time from about 7:00am - noon. For size from about noon to 2:00pm.

when light just begins to show till 8am or so

Dusk to dawn.

Late afternoon.

I've caught the vast majority of my big bass between 10 am and 2 pm, but to narrow it even tighter, I call the hour from noon until 1pm, the magic hour I try to always be on my best, big fish spots, around then.

Doh ! I think "BIG Bass" so automatically, that I didn't notice where you specifically asked about numbers, and not big ones.

Hmmmm. It's been a /really/ long time since I went out even trying for numbers.... But I guess back in the day, I used to do pretty well early in the morning, and late in the evening.

6am - 8am.  For some reason, I always catch my biggest fish of the day early in the morning, year round.  My 2 most productive techniques for early morning have been a fluke and a buzzbait. 

I usually catch more fish in the middle of the day, from about 11 to 3. In the late summer/fall the last two hours before dark is really good too.

I would say in the late spring through mid fall the period before sun rise to about 10:00 am is the best, but the evening is pretty good too. Only at certain times of the year is the midday bite here in Colorado that good, but during pre spawn through early post spawn it is quite good, but can be awesome in the mid summer if a storm is moving in and it's cloudy. A common scenario for me is to catch five or six bass in the morning, maybe 1 or 2 in the afternoons, and five or six more in the evening.

I normally begin at first light.  For numbers of fish, it's from then until the sunlight hits the water, although I keep fishing the shady portions until the sun is directly overhead.  My biggest fish have come between 10am-2pm.  I've also done very well from just after supper until dark.

4 to 8 pm.

5 am till 7. I would go earlier but the launch doesn't open till 5. usually start with a rapala x-walk13 or a buzz bait then switch over to a spinnerbait or shallow crank.

10 am-2pm is by far the best time for numbers.

summertime 7pm  - 8pm  .. .that one hour windows yield many catches on a black & blue plastic worm t-rigged

Mid day always seems to produce the biggest fish of any trip for me.
