My name is Matt and I'm from Illinois. I've been fishing for fun probably for 5 or 6 years now and that's pretty much all I hope to get out of it. I love to fish and would love to have a good place to share stories, experience and hopefully learn some new things. I love lake fishing and do often times fish for a meal. I've fished all over the midwest including up in northern wisconsin or southern illinois.

I definitely enjoy bass fishing but also enjoy fishing for pretty much any other fish too. I hope to some day go deep sea fishing. I also wrestle and play rugby as other hobbies. I'm hoping I can find some good people to chat with about fishing and learn things from here.
