What is your favorite lipless crankbait/Rat-L-Trap style bait in 6-9 feet of water?

I'm a big fan of the voltage line up at dicks either in red craw color or chrome

I've caught the majority of my lipless crankbait fish the last couple of years on Redeye Shads.

This is probably due to the fact that I throw them more than any other lipless crank.

Spro aruku Shad

I've caught most on the RES, because I fish it most often. I like the fall it has when given slack line. The rat-l-trap used to be my go too, and still is in the spring (red craw is hard to beat!). I switch up and throw a cordell spot when the bite seems to slack with the RES. None of the spots sounds a like, so sometimes it can be that subtle change that gets them bitin again.

Aruku shad, although a red eye shad has been a big producer as well.

I like the Yo-Zuri Rattl'n Vibe in Chrome/Blue (which I hear they are discontinuing. At least the chrome/blue, as I can't hardly find them anywhere. ) I also like the original Rattle Trap.

XR50 in ghost or pearl melon 1-14' preferably on St Clair for Toad smallmouth

I Like the Aruku shad but the new tremors come in silent with no rattles and I can get then with rattles also been doing good on the American shad color.

One that runs straight.

Spro Aruku Shad is the best I've found for rocks and just plain covering water and it's great for working timber and cutting through grass if you take the back hook off and up the size of the front one. As a matter of fact it's what I caught most of my fish on yesterday.

Xcalibur either one knocker or original in foxy momma color. I don't know if the fish prefer it but I sure do just cuz it looks friggin awesome.

Another vote for the Spro Aruku Shad. I love this bait.

I have a number of different lipless cranks that I experiment with from time to time, but day in and day out, I throw a Berkley Frenzy in a shiny threadfin shad color.

Aruku Shad and Xcalibur XR50 for almost all of mine. I fish Traps on a couple lakes, but it's under pretty specific conditions.

I have the arukus, daiwa tds, and tons of other high end cranks, but my go to is the super spot, probably because I have no fear of snagging it at $2 or $3 each.

Get a lure retriever, and put those baits to work!
