Wow! January Has Been Great So Far!

Featured Replies

Hey guys and gals! It's been awhile since I've posted so I thought I would drop by and say hey! Last year was busy for the roofing business and I didn't get to do much fishing so I thought I would get going in 2012, you know beens the world supposed to come to an end and all....okay, yeah, whatever.

Anyway, mother nature has been in favor of the fisherman around here with temps reaching the 60's on some days! The lake has been on fire! A-rigs, jerkbaits and jigs have been the best producers for me. We've caught fish from 3-20 ft. of water. There have been several nice fish caught but this girl was the pic worthy fish for me. She was out in the middle of the lake, hugging a stump when she nailed my A-rig!

Outstanding!

It's been a great winter for a lot of us so far and I got a 5 pounder just last night. However, snowing outside right now and water temps headed into the 30s - bite will be slow for a few days... :(

Great way to start out the new year, Keep up the great fishing and hope this year is great in the roofing, but also in fishing.

CJ I live in western KY we need to go fishing together sometimes

Good looking fish!

Nice fish, I'm sure it was nice to get back on the water again
