Anyone using Gene Larew plastics?

Featured Replies

Fished the Salt Craws way back when, now I'm eyeballing the HooDaddys, the Biffle-O Liz, the Biffle Bug, and the Three-Legged Frog.

I wonder how long till Catt replies to this one?

I'm pretty sure Gene Larew is one of his favorite companies

The HooDaddy's are good baits, but don't overlook the Ring Shad.

Have pretty good luck with the HooDaddy's.

Similar Yum Wooly Hawgtail.

Here's a pretty neat video from a fellow from my neck 'o the woods. He uses Gene Larew plastics almost exclusively and has a pretty neat trick here for rigging the HooDaddy.

I fish Baby Brush Hogs a LOT and am looking at both the 6" and 4.5" HooDaddys as alternatives to those.

Still use the Salt Craws here and there.

$5-$6+ a pack + shipping=way to expensive for me. I don't know anybody here locally that carries them.

They are good baits, no doubt.

I have used a Gene Larew product or two ;)

The 7 ½ Ringworm is my #1 goto lure and the Hawg Craw is killer Texas Rigged or as a jig trailer.

I've had limited success on HooDaddys and aint tried no of the others

I have had alot of luck with the old school salt craw.Seems like i can always catch fish on it.

This video is the best advertisement I have seen for buying a scale in a LONG TIME.   Check out this "6 and a half or 7 pounder" and see if you don't spit your drink on the screen.   ;D  The funny thing is that my last several 5 pounders were much bigger than that!

We were wondering when you and Gene would be getting off the water.

Was Lonnie able to join you guys today?

Still got a couple of packs of the 3.5 in. mega ring shad, in black

neon chartruse tail, & pumpkin pepper green flake. Havn't

The Long John Minnows are killer on smallies.
