I'm not sure about posting gear pics, I got beat to death just listing gear in a signature line.

As far as the cold, my fingers are still frozen from this morning, 33 degrees, wind chill was 28. I caught a small one on a rat-L-trap and a decent 2# on a black craw jig in 1' of water. I could'nt believe how much that fish was playing and splashing in the shallows in that those cold temps.

You are better than me.  I went out last sunday to test my new reel.  I could only take about 15 minutes of the cold north wind, but I was able to catch a lil 1# in that time.

Ill start things out with a couple of my favorites.

-Core 50mg7 paired with a Shimano Cumara. This is my favorite Combo.





-Daiwa Zillion 50th anniversary with GLoomis Bronzeback

Man that Cumara/Core combo is gorgeous! I've always told myself if I start getting expensive rods/reels this is the first one I'm getting. I'm really enjoying these post. If I recall correctly someone on here has a very nice collection of pixys.

I may not have the greatest, coolest, rarest, or most expensive gear but tomorrow night I'll post mine up.  I love looking at other peoples stuff, especially when I can't afford it or is hard to get.  Redlinerobert and JIMZEE always have the coolest stuff.

There are some seriously sick collectors on this sight.;D The Natural posted some pictures a while back that were very impressive (in an OCD sort of way). Raul still has some high end tackle from the early seventies (in its original packaging) hermetically sealed in a top secret storage facility.

I don't really have the resources to collect, but would if I could. 8-) I do have a great time fishing with my modest collection, and I think for many of us collecting is just part of the joy of the sport.

Seeing pics is always a good thing.  Everyone has their own style, flare, persona.  Everyone has to start somewhere, and everyone dreams of having more.  If people bump their gums about something that someone else has, they are green with envy.  And also there are alot of keyboard warriors sitting behind their monitors/laptops, so don't let it get to you. 

I'll snap some pics tonight of my little collection, as I've only just gotten back into fishing this summer

I love that response. 

Steezy did take a pretty good beating, which I thought was unfair.  He has always been very helpful to me when I had different questions on equipment.  I guess some people just get jealous.

One thing I just noticed. There is a thread running in the boating section where people show off there boats. Some of the boats posted are 40k plus rigs. Yet, not one person posts up nagging or complaining there. So Steezy, Bantam, The Natural and especially RedlineRobert, lets see some of your gear. If anyone feels compelled to whine about it, then whine to your mother. Because it doesn't belong here.

Hope to add a couple more next year. I'll probably put the Fuego on one of the HMG's(colors gotta match, right?) and put the Premier on whichever Loomis jig rod I decide on to keep the setup as lightweight as possible.

You may have noticed I like to match my combo's. I know it's not important to some people, but to gear enthusiasts it makes all the difference in the world. I probably spend as much time staring at my equipment as I do fishing.

Steezy, post your pics up man! Don't let a few jealous members deprive the rest of us of that joy.
