my wife loves fishing also but she definitely loves to rub it in also when she catches more fish then me. i dont bring nightcrawlers though she uses my bush bugs and thats it for her.

Well one time i was at my home lake and i threw a rapala skitter pop into a hole in the lilly pads. to my suprise i had the biggest explosion i have ever had on topwater im thinking now im about to catch the lake record maybe the michigan state record because this thing was so big. haha to make a long story short getting all excited about to catch a huge lol bass well it ended up being a giant dogfish it was fun to catch but i would have rather caught a bass that big.

low budget hooker i was just wondering you say that any color bait will work as long as there are fish there , do you have the same results using a bright pink senko or a watermelon senko, or black and blue compared to green pumkin in clear water for example...because for me when theres clear water i seem to be able to only catch fish on watermelon or green pumpkin and belive me i have tried hard not to just stick with the traditional colors. i have fished the different colors but no results.

its crazy i saw today that last yr today it was at its highest at just over 14,000 but today one yr later at its all time low.

thanks paul roberts...i know fall in northern states with the grass dieing and all that becuase i am from michigan and fall was my best fishing times..but here in the lake i fish there is no vegitation just brush and rock. hard to belive but its true. the water this weekend was 72 degrees and morning fishing was awesome but middle day it sucks. but i will be going again here soon hopefully i can figure somthing out.

no i understand totally what your saying also,but when i drive 2 hrs to bass fish, and thats the only lake for that type of fishing then heck ya im jumping up and down for 3.33 gas.

well i see it as way cheaper than it has been so im happy, sure its not CHEAP by any means but alot cheaper than the 4.19 i was paying this summer.

i own a 1988 bass tracker pro 17 and love it these last 4 days i only had to put 4 gallons of gas in my 6 gallon tank and my boat has a 40 horse motor on it. i drive alot to. easy on gas and easy to tow.

YES 3.33 a gallon i filled up my truck just for the heck of it.

haha ya its decent but theres no rod storage so im thinking about making some. but other than that its a good boat.

sanford lake, and wixom lake idk how many times i can tell people that. those two lakes are amazing you can skip docks all day and catch 2-4lbers or go back and fish the rivers and coves with a frog and catch the same fish. and in the fall the lakes are even better fishing a spinnerbait or a jig.

When i visit my brother at offut we would go to base lake and do ok. and beaver lake is really good to you just have to have access.

frogs for calm water i like manns hardnose...but the rage tail shad i have not had a problem with them running wrong yet. i do have the problem that when i get a fish i might be able to get 2 fish out of one bait.

Dont forget the largemouth fishing also..this is the best time of the yr. i wish i was back home right now. me and my buddy just killed while i was home on leave in the middle of september.

not trying to steal the post but do you guys usually jig these right below the boat or cast out and retrieve very slowly?
