well guys i am at the lake for the next 4 days...this morning we left to late apparently because by the time we got to the lake the sun was up and the topwater bite was gone. i tried the rage tail shads and there awesome didnt catch anything but good action...hooked a good fish on my jackall mikey but lost it..later saw bass busting on all kinds of shad i could see the school of shad in the back of this cove threw back there and caught two that were about 11 inches...later saw another group of bass jumping and lost a big one on a white swim jig. got on a point had a smallie chase my * *** up he didnt hit. next cast threw out same spot and caught another 11 incher sorry dont got pics because they were to small i like posting the keeper fish at least. so i got 3 more days of fishing so cant wait i will keep you guys posted.

manns hardnose frogs are awesome love the action..its great for calm mornings or days but if theres anywind its hard to get a bite becuase there more like a eighth ounce buzzbait. so in calm conditions i like those but in windy somthing with more bulk and more kick....but who knows im going to try the rage tail shad this weekend and hopefully i do good on them.

1 time a month if i lived near a lake i would fish 7 times a week.

i caught a 22andhalf inch bass while i was home on leave and it only weighed 5lbs..dont know about 8 and a half but oh well well see the picture.

black bass for nintendo, championship bass for ps1 and the nintendo 64 versions are the best i have bass pro 2007 and its ok for computer.

thank you thank you thank you...yes you can do that to get the biters and snaggers make me so angry. i had a guy when i was 10yrs old i got there before day light waiting patiently for light so i could see fish. and as soon as it got daylight came tromping down the river and pushed me out of the way and started whipping his snagging rod around...so my dad came down there and had a few words with him and he never came back or wallked by my dad.

the people with the one salmon egg all they do is throw out a weight with a hook and egg and jerrk their rod hoping to SNAG a fish. we see that all the time at bear creek i wish the DNR would go down there. i have fished for salmon in alaska and michigan and salmon do bite.

ya i went and looked at the video and they show tail up so thats what im going with. and haha i know how to rig a frog no need for that post

funny you should ask this as i just got home from leave and flying with my lures....but you have to check them i just put all my softplastics and hook lures in there and didnt have a problem except that i had barely any clothes in there haha. but a guy on here told me they stopped him and took everything with hooks from his carryon. so you might want to check those.

this may be a stupid question to some but i have never used these but bought some awhile back and i was wondering do you rig it with the tail sticking up or down?

where you live at cuz up in northern michigan salmon are starting to come in good.

when i miss a frog fish i will throw a jig right back into the hole he it it in idk why they eat the jig almost immediately but they do. some times i will throw a light eighth ounce jig acrosss the pads and drag that as soon as they hit i will pause it and let the bait sink down and have caught alot of fish that way.

i purchased one lure from dsaavedra a blugill swimbait that he made and let me tell ya its awesome...and i purchased a jackall mikey jr in auora black. a wakebait. this will be my first time using swimbaits so im hoping for some luck.

ok guys i cant stand it i am going fishing this weekend for 4 days i bought two new swimbaits. i keep looking at pics of smallies caught on swimbaits largemouth caught on them. LBH videos of swimbaiting and im about to jump out of my skin thinking about using them., i cant wait, now hopefully i can catch somthing on them.

that looks so bassy...i wold love to fish those trees with a *** or throw a manns hardnose frog through there.

great now im going to have to buy one of those off ya also.

that sucks really bad...ya last time i was at the lake i was going extremely slow looking for schools of white bass and i hit a rock and i was like well thats it for my fishing season. but i pulled the motor up and i just put a little ding in the prop somehow.

ok guys i just bought the jackall mikey jr swimbait to try out this weekend. what type of line do you use with swimbaits? braid? mono? or fluoro? thanks. and what size?

if baby bass always works for you then why try other colors? if no matter what it works.
