  1. Wait a while, they don't have too much. Almost no decent rods left and really picked over. Hope this doesn't repeat like last year and the place had nothing until March. :
  2. Fourbizz is currently stocking up his shelter.....
  3. Learn to drop-shot and read electronics... Before this year I wouldn't fish over 20'. I had to learn how in order to do well on Champlain and spent a lot of time on it. I now have zero fear of the deep stuff and caught smallies suspended in over 100' of water this year. My main range when I'm looking for them in the summer months is the 30-50' zone. Being able to see a fish in 35' on the bottom, knowing how big it is, what it's doing, and knowing if you drop your bait down you will catch it is all the confidence I need.
  4. Did you get a picture of her last night when you were done??? Naaa, ran out to quick. Said she had to get home and "Pack her Corey's lunch before he went to work".
  5. The chance of Nessy existing is greater than this guys story being true...
  6. mmmm, but just plain ugly.... http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2008/12/red_sox_unveil.html
  7. I'm just disgusted the Sox changed their logo from the "B".... Not cool But Tampa was a fluke and the Yanks money will get them no where but 15-day disabled list frustration so GO SOX!
  8. Who is the copy-cat? :-/ ;D
  9. Yamamoto tube weight that hangs on the hook on the inside of the tube so you can T-rig the tube without a bullet weight.
  10. You can use it in the nasty stuff not just around docks and lighter cover. One thing about the Carrot's is even though it says MH, it compares more to a Croix or Loomis heavy. For example the 6'7 medium has too stiff of a tip for me to throw any treble hooked baits or baits with lightwire hooks. Where as I would throw both of those types of baits on my medium Croix's or Loomis rods.

In the Watermelon/Chart color it is one of the best bed baits around. If I'm bed fishing I always have one rigged up on either a 1/32 or 1/16 oz bullet pegged with a toothpick 2-4" above the hook. It picks up the fish my other two bed baits can't. (Truth serum is talking)...... :-X

Spot Remover colored 1/2 oz. Screaming Eagle.
  13. I can't stand Croix. But for the price and weight I was really impressed with this rod when I messed around with it at BPS.
  14. I have the 7'3 and now 7'6 MH. Both are great for pitching. The thing is with these rods is the length is all in the rod. Not too much handle and might take a little to get use to. But because the rod is so light you really don't need a really long handle. I beat up my 7'3 MH on Champlain this year. It had 65 pound braid on it 9/10 of the year and was put through h..l. I caught a 16 pound Bowfin on it and it stood up great. (Didn't realize what the VT state record bowfin was until talking with a buddy a few days later).

  23. Why throw a jig if they are on baitfish? Sounds like the making for a great crankbait, fluke, or spinnerbait bite. :-?
