Dropshotting with braid
I find myself with several new spools of Stren Superbraid 10# (3# diameter) that I want to tryit for dropshotting. I'm going to spool up my drop shot spinning rig with the stuff and see how it goes. With braid this thin, do you even bother with a leader? Or just tie directly to the line?

Yo-Zuri Hybrid
Yo Zuri Hybid is perfect for baitcasters. In smaller diameters, it works well on spinning reels. Yo Zuri Hybrid is much stronger than its rated test (12lb test breaks at 19.5 lbs). I use 8lb Hybrid on my Daiwa Sol baitcaster for light cranks and topwaters. I use 10lb with my Daiwa Fuego baitcasters for medium cranks and lighter soft plastics. I also use 10lb on my cranking rig for deep cranks. I use 12lb on my heavier plastics baitcasting rigs. And I use 15lb on my flipping and frog baitcasting rigs. For all round us (except frogs and flipping) 10 lb or 12lb works great. I don't go above 8lb on my spinning outfits. Not because they can't handle it, but because of its a technique that requires heavier tackle, I use a baitcaster.

Finally switching!!!!!
I can't stand Sufix braid. I tried it once and striped it off my reel. The stuff is so bright it sticks out like a sore thumb. Still the best I've tried is Stren Super Briad (no Sonic Braid IIRC). Fireline Braid looks good, too. I'm going to try that next.

Vasectomy
Nope. Handi-wipes are still handy.

Vasectomy
It is if it's cold in the room. Tip 1: Shave first, unless your doctor has a pretty nurse, then you don't need to. She can do it. Tip 2: Get yourself some big freezer bags for ice. You'll need to rest afterwards and keeping ice on your lap helps with discomfort and swelling. Tip 3: Resist the urge to, well, you know, "be the master of your own domain" to soon (just to see if the procedure worked). I did that a couple of days later and my blood pressure dropped and I passed out. Not a good thing to be lying in your bathroom floor with your pants down and .... You get the picture. Tip 4: You are going to feel nodules (for lack of a better term) in your bean bag for quite some time. This is normal. It's just the ends of things that are healing up. Tip 5: Enjoy. Remember, for you, sex is just for fun, now. One last thing, the doc is going to want you to bring some "samples" back a couple of times afterwards just to make sure you really are shooting blanks. Most guys use a baby food jar, and a brown paper bag to make the quick delivery to their urologist's office (some guys send their wives in with it :). I think you ought to have some fun so I recommend this ... Get yourself a big mayonaise jar. Fill it up with white dishwashing liquid. Splash a little water on your face then walk into your doctor's office and set it on the counter, start panting and say "here's my sample, I'll bring another in tomorrow." Watch their faces. ;D

Has anyone used this lure?
Heck yes. It's a great light lure for panfish. Even managed a few small bass on it. But it is a bluegill lure. I like to cast it out and just lightly twitch it. It will sit there and send rings out like a real bug. If you crank it, it comes back just under the surface with a really wide wobble. It has very tiny hooks some have some pliers handy when you fish it. It doesn't matter what color you use. If bluegill are hiting on the surface, it will work.

Copolymer for heavy cover
I looked for it last night and it was gone from their lines page. I even searched for it. Phew!

This for you Micro
That's cool. Is it a Bull Snake?

Copolymer for heavy cover
Is there a P-Line equivalent to Yo-Zuri Hybrid? I love Yo-Zuri, but the only place near me that carries it is BPS and they have a dwindling supply and they don't seem to be restocking it. And Tackle Warehouse doesn't carry it anymore. So I'm eventually going to need to find an alternative. My BPS has tons of P-Line products.

Reminiscing about SOUTH PARK
I'm starting to get a clue. I've got a raging clue. My clue is pointing over here. My clue is pointing over there. Let's follow your clue.

Broad Head Skink to be precise.

Reminiscing about SOUTH PARK
Butters is a great character. I liked the episode when Cartman had him dress up like a chinese and told him to just say "prease" and "herro" a lot. I remember one episode when one of the boys went into the boys room and Butter was standing at the urinal. He had his pants down around his knees and using both hands to hold his shirt up as he pee'd. Who of us doesn't remember some kid in elementary school that did that. ;D

Reminiscing about SOUTH PARK
Maybe the greatest show in television history. Do you have a favorite episode or catch phrase? Mine is "Mystery of the Urinal Deuce." Favorite phrase - "clue goo." ;D

John & Kate + 8
I suspect you would, even if her hair weren't on fire. But I agree. She needs a b-slap. She looks to me like an egomaniac.

Well, it's encouraging that you started out right. You asked first.

John & Kate + 8
They are both nauseating.

John & Kate + 8
Am I the only one getting sick of hearing about this show? I don't even watch that garbage but since it's on the news and other TV channels every night I know more than I want to. BTW, Kate's kinda good looking. After her tummy tuck, she even kinda looks good in a bikini. What the frig? I wish I never heard of this show. (Here's where the little vomiting smilie goes, but I couldn't find it.)

DVD Suggestions
I'd get an inexpensive DVD player from Walmart. No need to spend more than $100. In fact, you could get one from a major manufacturer for much less. If you can work a VCR, a DVD player ain't much different.

Child rape suspect beaten by crowd.....
As Chris Rock would say, "It may be wrong, but I understand." Somethings you just don't do. And if you do, you hope the police find you first.

What's your favorite crankbait?
Strike King Bitsy Pond Minnow. I swear, that little crank will catch anything.

I'd recommend you start reading articles on this website. Start reading posts on this site. Know what to buy before you buy. Stick with name brands. Daiwa, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Pflueger. Most of the offerings from these brands are at the very least decent, and many are extremely good. If I were just starting out, I'd start out with a 6'6" or 7' spinning rod, medium power, fast action, and a decent reel from one of the aforementioned manufacturers. I'd spool it with 8lb monofilament line. This set up will allow you to use a wide variety of lures, and small live baits. Remember - read the psots and articles on this site. And ask BEFORE you buy if you aren't sure. Now, welcome to your new addiction.

My mojo
If you have a Bass Pro rewards card, you don't need your receipt. BPS will have a record of your purchase, assuming you presented your rewards card when you bought it.
