They're not bad at all...In one of the hospitals I used to work at, there was a doctor that did his own in his office with just local anesthetic.....

its not a walk in the park

Had it done a couple years ago... it's no walk in the park, but there are many things which are much, much worse. My main advice would be to follow doctor's orders to a T and do NOT over do it. I've heard too many stories of guys thinking they were just fine and began normal activities, but really weren't healed up and ended up with jewels the size of grapefruits.

As for sex being better, well, not sure if I'd exactly explain it that way... but the relief of A) you or your partner not having to mess with protection and not worrying about reproducing again probably relax the mind and allow for "better" sex. Of course, as with most things in life, it's not totally and completely 100%, but it's about as close as it gets.

I have an appointment set up with "the snip" doctor next week. I guess a surgery date will be set then. Not looking forward to it at all.

I'm not kidding, there was some sweat equity involved in mine.  I actually had to do some stuff the nurse was supposed to do.

I think it can, or at least usually...  I remember seeing the billboards that say "Vasectomy reversal" and have a houston phone number.  (Which I thought was odd since I saw the signs on my commute when I was living in Dallas.   ...lol
