  7. Yea I bought a bunch of those a couple of years ago and I think I caught one fish. I agree that they look better than they produce. I would go for a different creature bait.
  8. I would say the Dancing Eel for sure. I remember when that came out in the 80's and I begged my dad for one. I fished that as my only bait several times and didn't catch a thing. I also didn't relize we weren't at Beanville Plantation either.
  9. I bought one Ugly Stick because of the commercials several years ago. It was a terrible rod with regards to sensitivity. Yes durable but not sensitive. Plus IMO I would spend a couple of extra bucks on a good plastic rod.

  11. That is funny. AllFluger, nice bag. I got 2 of those bags a couple of years ago. I got lucky they both say AllStar. Yea both companies are owned by Shakespeare. Good luck
  12. Do you guys have any suggestions for a scale? I don't need a 100 dollar scale just something accurate for around 30 bucks. I Have tried the Berkley before and it wasn't very accurate. If I have to spend the money I will but I'm hoping you guys have some suggestions.
  13. I thought it was the Germans who bombed Pearl Harbor. It was the Germans and it happened about 6 months ago. Way to utilize your memory and love for things past.
  14. Thank you guys for your replies. I'm going later today and will try it out.
  15. I have been fishing this small lake for a few months. Its shallow maybe 20ft. it is man made so they threw a bunch of rocks so the bass would have structure. Here's the problem weather I drop shot or throw a weightless Senko I get stuck on the bottom. So I have to break off and rety. I was thinking of going to a tube. What do you all recommend?
  16. Welcome to the forum. I just bought the new Lighting rod and it is excellent for the money. I have had a few of the lower end All Stars and Shimanos but for the money, check out the new Lighting Rod. Good Luck
  17. Is this a fact or a joke? :-?
  18. Yea I went there 2 weeks ago. It was crazy. It's better then the one in Savannah but pretty close to Orlando's in terms of size. The thing that was kind of aggravating is that there were so many people there. It was more of a novelty for them. The rod selection while I was there was pretty weak. Mostly BPS rods and not a large variety of other manufacturers. There combo selections were also limited if you like buying combos. The store is AWSOME though. The layout is really cool. The bass they have in the tanks are all pretty big. There is one in there that I wonder how big she is. So it's taken them long enough to get down here but I'm stoked.
  19. What's even more awsome is that on Ebay right now you can buy Iron Silk for 30.00 bucks for a 330 yard spool. ;D
  20. June Bug Black/Blue Flake Watermelon Red Flake
  21. Iron Silk fishing line
  22. People feel free to THUMP away.
  23. Dude I am a total retard. Thats great because I spent forever doing it like a moron. Thank you for your help.
  24. I'm having problems with this knot. Here is the problem I can tie it fine with Power Pro but with 8lb test and a size 6 circle hook for drop shotting I cannot get the line fed. I have tried pinching the line but it will not get small enough to thread. I know this is an easy knot but I really cant figure this out. Please help.
