  1. 12 Lb. Berkley Trilene 100% or Sunline Fluorocarbon.
  2. I caught one in SW Virginia with the same "fungus" a few weeks back. The picture isn't great:
  3. This explains actions well: http://allstarrods.com/as_actiontaper.html There is also a sticky about rod action/power near the top of the page.
  4. $10 for 5 fancy Eagle Claws?
  5. Not true. Keeping the smaller legal bass and releasing the big ones helps the fishery. You want the large fishes' genetics passed on through the spawn as many times as possible.
  6. I hope they don't feel anything like the TFO fly rods....
  7. Original Floaters aren't considered crankbaits, but that doesn't mean you can't fish them like a shallow crankbait or wakebait.
  8. I've bought one Megabass lure, an XJF-100. On the second fish it caught, the metal tail piece broke off. Haven't considered buying another Megabass since.
  9. The DSGs around here carry a Black Max/Lightning Rod Combo that sells for about $60. If the stores around you stock them, you could use your $10 off coupon and get a good starter set-up for about $50.
  10. Lucky Craft Pointers and Jackall Squad Minnows are all I use.

Welcome. My cousins live in Peachtree City.
  12. There is a slight difference, but the IMX is still very sensitive. I think the GLX's extra sensitivity is worth the money when fishing contact baits like jigs and soft plastics. If you have the money, go for the GLX, but if you don't you won't be sacrificing too much with the IMX.
  13. Definitely a Crappie.
  14. Why do you use a swivel and a snap on a jig?
  15. I understand how you feel. To me, a bass's sport fishing value far outweighs its nutritional value, but not everyone feels that way.
  16. 5/16 oz. Talon Hardball Finesse Jig GYCB Flappin' Hog
  17. 1. Sunline Super Natural 2. Sufix Elite
  18. Me too... I've been saving my mowing money for the US version of the Aldebaran.
  19. I think those are Calico Bass, they are a saltwater fish native to the Pacific. But I might be wrong.
  20. He'll jump and throw the lure before too long.
  21. I made the switch a couple of months ago. Owners rule.
  22. G Loomis MBR783C GLX Shimano Curado E7 Sunline FC Sniper 10 lb.
  23. Welcome from the High Point area.
