  2. Quality replica mounts look better and last longer. And you get to release the fish to catch again when she's bigger.
  3. Zoom Sweet P LC Flat Mini SR LC Bevy Crank 65 SR These are all small baits that get a lot of bites.
  4. I really like the Buzzjet Jr. They catch some nice quality fish, and the hits are usually explosive.
  5. It's usually a good way to tell as long as its mouth is completely closed. But on small fish it can be too close to really tell. Since it is in a pond and it's that far east in the state there probably aren't any smallmouths in there unless the owner put a few in. If you post a picture of the next one you catch that you think is a smallmouth we could tell for sure.
  6. Are you sure it was a smallmouth? I've never heard of any farther east than the Uwharrie River. If the owner stocked it and they have survived, that's pretty unusual.
  7. Its the exact opposite for me...
  8. Most have sizes 4 or 6 on them.
  9. Redfish are my favorite saltwater fish to catch. They put up a great fight.
  10. Switch the 5:1:1 reel out for one with a faster retrieve if you can. You want a high speed reel to catch up to the fish that make a dive for thick weeds or pads and keep them out of there. A 7:1:1 would be best, but a 6:4:1 would work OK.

I've got a couple of the crankbait boxes and the terminal tackle organizer. They are good quality boxes and save time when you are looking for a certain lure, hook, weight, etc.
  14. Hopefully this will be the last time. I've almost quit watching Sportscenter entirely. It's turned into a sports gossip show IMO.
  15. The Orlando Tuskers.
  16. This series of videos was very helpful to me when I got started (the link is to part 1 of the 3 part series):
  17. I've had an E7 for almost a year now and an E5 since December. They have both held up perfectly and are just as smooth as they were when I bought them.

Wasn't it Miller and Urey who conducted that experiment a year before Watson and Crick discovered the Double Helix structure of DNA?
  22. The Bandit 100 series cranks are very nice for the price.
